An SLP teacher/principal signed Continuous Learning Form is required before a student will be enrolled in our academic remediation program. Please contact your child’s classroom teacher about this form. Destination Mars: Rocketry
Dr. Suess World
Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air. Then it is yours to take home. Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Driver’s Education with Safeway Driving School

Safeway Driving School has been graduating teen drivers for 50 years. Safeway’s focus is creating safe, responsible teen drivers. Classroom and behind-the-wheel lessons emphasize defensive driving techniques tailored for the inexperienced teen driver while targeting to influence the invincible teen attitude. All instructors are licensed by the MN Dept. of Public Safety. Class Instruction prepares the student for the MN permit test. Classroom includes 10 lessons. If a student misses a lesson, they can make it up at the next session or at another location. Upon completion, students who are 15 years old are eligible to take their permit test at any MN exam center. (Test not provided during class.)
