One of the most successful projects was implemented in the field of milk processing. A group of Mongolian shepherds associated with a small cooperative in a remote village of Batshiret (400 km from Ulaanbaatar), received training on how to process milk into ripe cheese. They currently produce cheese which they sell at local markets and in Ulaanbaatar. The support was also provided for a project to improve educational opportunities and methods for children and young people with hearing and visual disabilities. This encompassed the dissemination of educational materials to blind communities and the training of communities and professionals in the Mongolian sign language across Mongolia.
