A Message from the Principal Council aintJohn’sremainssteadyandisproducingexceptionalresultsinthefaceofleadershipchange. Our S educators continue to carry out excellent Catholic Education in the classroom, serving our 118 Kindergarten through Seventh Grade and 35 Preschool students. verthesummermonthsof2023,acommitteeof11people(4parents,3staffmembers,3teachers, O and1parishmember)haveconductedthreeinterviews. Twoofthethreewerenotagoodfitdueto lack of experience. We made a competitive offer to one and his response wasthathewasnotyet quitereadyforachange. Heisremaininginhiscurrentpositionbutaskedustoreachbackouttohim again in the spring. In light of not having a principal for the new 2023-2024 school year, we have again formed a Principal Council to divide up the duties and responsibilities. hiscouncilisbeingledbyourPastor,Fr.NeilBakkerandincludesSueColling,JustineHagness,and T Marijean Storlie, who each took ownership of certain facets of the Principal’s role: Day-to-day Operations, Educational Lead, Human Resource Management and Preschool Director responsibilities. nrollmentfellslightlytoatotalof153studentsin2022-2023duetosomestudentswithdrawingfrom E ourschool. WeareinthesecondyearofrollingoutMiddleSchoolgradeslevelsandopenedanew Eighth Grade classroom. Seven students are pioneering our program and have received the new program and curriculum positively. The 2023-2024 school year willbringanincreaseofstudentsto 163, with the addition of eighth grade. xpenses in the school were covered by tuition (52%), development & grants (34%), parish E contribution (10%), and other income (3%).
