Women’s Tennis


SJC hosted the Skyline Conference Championships in October at Baiting Hollow Golf Club and placed third in a scoring field of six. Indoor Track & Field

The Golden Eagles competed at the NJAC Championships where the women and men finished in ninth and tenth places, respectively. At the ECAC Championships, sophomore Meagan Haviland placed sixth in the 1000-meter with a time of 3:10.06. Senior Jennifer Holownia competed in the long jump (4.42 m) and anchored the women’s 4x200m relay. The men’s 4x200m relay team finished 10th with a time of 1:37.42.

Men’s Basketball

SJC posted a 5-20 overall record for the second-straight season in 2018-19 and went 4-16 in Skyline Conference play. St. Joseph’s silver lining came in the form of Frank Basile who, in addition to earning Skyline All-Conference Second-Team accolades, was named ECAC Metro Player of the Month in January, appeared on the MBWA Weekly Honorable Mention five teams and was selected as Skyline Player of the Week twice.

Women’s Swimming

With a 9-4 dual meet record the Golden Eagles entered the Skyline Conference Championships with high hopes of finishing in the top four but finished just off the mark in fifth place. In total, two program records were broken—Julianna Kohlus in the 200-yard fly and the 800-yard free team—and Samantha Mullman appeared on the Skyline Weekly Honor roll twice.

Women’s Basketball In her first season, head coach Vicki Andruszkievicz and the Golden Eagles posted a 4-21 overall record with a 3-15 conference mark. Freshman Alyssa Signor averaged 16.6 points-, 5.4 rebounds- and 2.5 steals-per-game and claimed three Skyline Rookie of the Week honors.

Men’s Tennis

The men’s tennis team improved off of its 2-8 record in 2019 with a 4-8 mark in the 2019. Despite failing to qualify for the Skyline Conference playoffs, the team picked up a couple of weekly awards when Ryan Freeley was named Skyline Player of the Week and Nick Bongiorno was selected as Skyline Rookie of the Week on March 26.
