Sincere Love
As the earth remains, we walk through our daily lives with expected hope of tomorrow. There is a saying I use to hear as a teenager, I don’t know if it is a saying of old or one my generation actually coined, “tomorrow never comes” because when tomorrow arrives it is then today. Well true or not, there is a message; “life is now, life is present. Life is valuable and precious; how we live it is our choice. A choice granted today! Personally I haven’t always made the right choices for my life. No, I haven’t always made the right decisions for my destiny; I have learned though, every choice I make affects my destiny good or bad. Becoming a Christian is the best choice I ever made, but I didn’t just arrive and life became perfect. What took place was I accepted the greatest love of my life, Jesus Christ. It was then up to me to give Him lordship, allowing Him to be head of my life. Jesus said, “if you love me”… now you know that statement is said so often and for all the wrong reasons, by the wrong person. But this was Jesus our Shepard saying, “if you love me…” His sheep knows His voice, which is the only voice we should obey. Sincere love, real relationships start with God, they can survive when you choose His love and obey his instructions for our lives. In growth we discover who God is as Father and who we are, but growth requires a daily walk, a daily decision of having a personal relationship with Him. Now, I’ve walked with God for many year, I fallen, but He’s always there to pick me up and carry me in those hard places of life (behind the closed doors) when I feel “it’s too much.” But the choice we make that sustains us through it all is “love.” 1 Cor. 13:2-13, 1John 4:8 One day I decided enough is enough. “It’s time to step up to the plate and start hitting home runs in life” I knew it could and would only be done in Him alone. In every area of life He must be the choice! Here’s the challenge! Sincere Love! (Continues in Midday Tea -pg.2)
