At the end of 2016 PIAGGIO presented the latest Vespa GTS/GTS Super models, the GTS 300cc and the GTS Super 125/150cc, to the public. It retained the front suspension from the 2013 model and they were now all equipped with ABS/ASR systems. Due to the Euro IV regulations the motors are also equipped with 'start/stop' technology to increase fuel-economy and reduce exhaust emissions. The 125cc scooters were provided with the liquid cooled 'iGet' engine, a remote-controlled seat lock mechanism and the top of the steering assembly was redesigned slightly.

GTS/GTS SUPER At the end of 2014, PIAGGIO presented the new production series for the Vespa GTS models (GTS 300cc/ GTS Super 125-300cc). Differences compared to the previous model are a changed speed dial (analogue/ digital) with digital deceleration, indicators with LED daytime running light function, a new rear light with a chrome frame, a bigger helmet compartment suitable for two PIAGGIO open face helmets and a new seat. The biggest technical advance is a new front suspension, optionally available with ABS/ABR. The chassis provides considerably more driving comfort and superior handling. The Vespa GTS 300cc is also available as a Touring model. On this model, chromed folding luggage carriers are fitted as standard to the front and the rear as well as a flyscreen.

since 2017 VESPA PRIMAVERA/SPRINT The front shock absorber attachment was the most major update, with the mechanism from the LX range now fitted. The 125/150cc class received the 3V 'iGet' Euro IV ready engine, including the 'start/stop/ technology. The frame parts remained identical, with all parts from its predecessor being fully compatible. The new choice of vehicle colours available were inspired directly by the original paints found on the Vespa Special and Primavera models from the seventies.
