Sinai Akiba Academy engages students in the joy and discipline of learning.
We nurture a community of ethical, critical thinkers who, shaped by our evolving Jewish tradition, walk through the world with confidence and humility. OUR CORE
BUILDING A KEHILLAH KEDOSHAH For over 55 years, Sinai Akiba Academy has been guided by a set of core values, rooted in Jewish tradition. These six values define who we are as a sacred community, and shape our students into innovative, resilient scholars with a deep love of learning and great pride in their Judaism.
Sinai Akiba Academy’s Core Values are interwoven into all aspects of school life. They inspire our community and inform teaching at all levels, from the DFECC through the Middle School. Throughout this report, our directors will share how some of these values are expressed in their divisions.
Dear Sinai Akiba Academy Community,
It is with immense pride and gratitude that I present this year’s Annual Report, a reflection of our collective achievements and continued growth as a vibrant Conservative Jewish day school. At Sinai Akiba Academy, our mission is clear and deeply rooted: to raise confident, curious, and joyful Jewish adults. This report highlights some of our accomplishments over the past year and reflects the ways our mission guides every aspect of our work—from academic excellence to nurturing a lasting connection to Jewish values and tradition.
2024-2025 was nothing short of extraordinary at Sinai Akiba Academy. We improved and enhanced our campus through three transformative capital projects: Jonah’s Play Yard, the Marc Becker Patio and the Jacki & Jeff Karsh Terrace. We celebrated sports championships achieved by teamwork and perseverance, applauded exceptional academic accomplishments that reflected intellectual curiosity, and were moved by inspiring performances and artwork that showcased our students’ creativity and artistic expression. The capstone of the academic year is also the capstone of the Sinai Akiba Academy experience. It was our eighth graders’ trip to Israel—a transformative journey that deepened our students’ connection to their heritage, their people, and to one another before they stepped into the next chapter of their lives.

Our Core Values—Kehillah Kedoshah (Sacred Community), Talmud Torah (Academic Excellence), Derech Eretz (Kindness, Empathy & Respect), Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof (Ethical Responsibility), Avodat Halev (Soulful Intention), and Ahavat Yisrael (Love for Israel)—are the foundation upon which our students learn and grow. These values infuse every classroom discussion, every community gathering, and every act of kindness and courage demonstrated by our students and educators alike. In an uncertain world, they ground us in tradition and purpose.
As you read through this report, you will hear directly from each of our division directors, who have shared reflections on the year through the lens of two Core Values that have been especially meaningful in their areas. While each has chosen a unique pair to highlight, all six Core Values remain central to the mission and daily life of every division at Sinai Akiba Academy, guiding our work and shaping our community as a whole.
All of this was made possible because we did it together, as a strong Sinai Akiba Academy community. Guided by the theme of our strategic vision, B’yachad (Forward Together), and its foundational principle of unity, we shepherded our students through both the joy of learning and the challenges posed by the world outside our campus. We stood by one another—as educators, families, and friends—ensuring our students always felt supported and inspired. This collective success was made possible by the extraordinary generosity of our parent community and donors. Your commitment strengthens every lesson, every experience, and every step forward.
I invite you to review the Annual Report with all this in mind and thank you for your ongoing partnership and support.
Dr. Lauren Plant, Head of School
As I concluded my final year as Chair of the Sinai Akiba Academy School Board, I reflect with immense pride on all we have achieved together. It has been an honor to see our school regain its strength as the premier Jewish Day School in Los Angeles.
This year brought many meaningful milestones: the launch of our five-year strategic plan, B’Yachad – Forward Together, which will guide every aspect of school life; the adoption of updated bylaws to strengthen governance, preserve our independence and ensure alignment with accreditation standards. Equally inspiring, we celebrated another excellent fundraising year, with the SAA Fund reaching a 15-year high, building on record breaking amounts for the past three consecutive years. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our community and the dedicated leadership of Janet Rosenblum, our Director of Philanthropy, together with the SAA Development Committee.
Perhaps most meaningful, we completed our California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) re-accreditation process, earning the maximum seven-year term and glowing feedback from the visiting committee. Fifty years after being one of the first Jewish Day Schools to earn CAIS accreditation, we remain proud to meet the highest standards of excellence and accountability — a testament to our leadership, educators, and especially Dr. Plant’s dedication and vision during this process. Serving as Chair during this transformative period has been a memorable honor and privilege. I am especially grateful to my fellow SAA School Board members and to Dr. Plant for her leadership. With great confidence, I now pass the gavel to Eszter Neuman, knowing under her watch, Sinai Akiba will continue from strength to strength.
Forever grateful, Rob Galperson, SAA Board Chair 2022-2025

Last June, four high school students stood at the entrance of Sinai Temple asking to come through security. Rabbi Guzik and I happened to be there at the same moment. When we asked what they were doing here on a late spring afternoon, they jumped with joy, “Rabbis, we are here to see our Sinai Akiba teachers.” They had graduated years before, and now were ready to enter the college campus. Yet, where did they want to return? To the sacred halls that created their first communal Jewish memories, and to the deep relationships with teachers, mentors, and friends who continue to lead them on their way. We pray each Shabbat to find oneg, (joy) in our lives. What we know about Sinai Akiba Academy is that the joy of Shabbat extends to each and every day, and to each and every student. From the Innovation lab to Weinberg gym, from the history lesson to the class on modern Israel, the joy that permeates the Sinai Akiba Academy community is contagious, and the key to our Jewish future.
As parents of three Sinai Akiba Academy students and as co-senior Rabbis of Sinai Temple, we look forward to continual oneg, (joy) in the year ahead.
Rabbis Nicole Guzik & Erez Sherman, Sinai Temple Senior Rabbis

At the Douglas Family Early Childhood Center, the journey to Jewish adulthood begins with wonder. Our youngest learners step into a world designed especially for them—where joy, curiosity, and Jewish identity are nurtured from the very beginning. In our inquiry-based classrooms, a simple question can lead to collaborative experiments, art projects, and storytelling. Here, play and learning are deeply intertwined, setting the stage for critical thinking, emotional growth, and a lifelong love of discovery. Every day, our students experience what it means to be part of a Kehillah Kedoshah (a sacred community) that celebrates each child’s individuality while instilling a sense of belonging. They gather joyfully each week on the newly renovated Jonah’s Play Yard for Mini Minyan, where they sing, dance, and pray together. This outdoor space is specifically designed to support play-based learning through the building and tinkering area, climbing structure, stage, and more. As
part of our arts program, children express themselves using hands-on materials, movement, and music. On Fridays, the smell of freshly baked challah fills the air as students prepare for Shabbat, creating meaningful rituals that connect them to Jewish tradition, and each other.
Our outdoor play spaces—designed just for early childhood learners—offer opportunities for imagination and exploration. Whether running, climbing, or engaging in cooperative games, students are building social skills and resilience. Through all of these experiences, they are also introduced to the values of Ahavat Yisrael (love for Israel) and Tikkun Olam (repair the world), learning that they are part of something larger than themselves. The Douglas Family Early Childhood Center is more than just a beginning—it is the foundation of a joyful, meaningful Jewish education and identity that will guide them for years to come.

As students transition into the Lower School at Sinai Akiba Academy, their worlds expand—and so do their opportunities to grow and explore through inquirybased learning. This is a time when curiosity is met with developmentally appropriate, increasing academic depth and responsibility. Our students engage in differentiated learning tailored to their needs and strengths, ensuring that each child is challenged and supported. With a growing sense of independence, students explore new ideas and take ownership of their learning. Throughout Lower School, we integrate the Core Values of Talmud Torah (academic excellence) and the expectation for students to act with Derech Eretz (kindness, empathy, and respect.) Our classrooms come alive through experiential learning and our signature J-STEAM program (Jewishinfused Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Students use design thinking and projectbased learning to solve real-world problems through collaboration and experimentation. Whether coding
a simple app, wiring a working circuit, or building a prototype, students are not only learning technical skills—they’re developing the confidence to explore and persist through challenges. These foundational moments are essential as we guide students toward mastery in both academic content and growth in character.
Just as we nurture their minds, our Lower School experience is intentionally designed to develop strong social-emotional skills, grounded in Jewish values and a safe, supportive community. During the 2024-
2025 school year, SAA launched the RULER program to enhance social-emotional learning. We also continue to provide a wide-range of support through our Student Services department providing learning reinforcement and advanced learning opportunities. Additionally, Lower School students engage in sports, music, and visual arts, and may even join our orchestra program, discovering new ways to express themselves and build confidence. Our dedicated faculty—who
themselves are lifelong learners—participate in and present at top national conferences, continuously enhancing their practice, while continually partnering closely with families to communicate about their students’ academic progress. With the encouragement of exceptional educators and a values-rich curriculum, our students are empowered to grow into thoughtful, engaged learners.

Middle School at Sinai Akiba Academy is where students step fully into their potential including a focus on increased academic rigor—with confidence, purpose, and heart. Rooted in the Core Values of Avodat Halev (soulful intention) and Talmud Torah (academic excellence), our program encourages students to engage deeply with both their learning and their identity.

This is a time when children begin to define who they are and who they want to become, and we provide them with the guidance and tools to do just that. Our middle schoolers are not just students—they are role models, leaders, and problem-solvers. As younger students look up to them, our Middle School students rise to the occasion—designing solutions to real-world issues like food insecurity, and building in our Innovation Lab. They present confidently in public forums, a skill that supports their journey toward bar and bat mitzvah, prepares them for high school and college coursework, and lays the foundation for future leadership. Our robust electives program allows students to explore subjects outside their core curriculum, enabling them to develop new interests, discover hidden talents, and broaden their knowledge base. This program includes annual dramatic and dance productions, fine arts and robotic exhibitions that showcase student talent and creativity.
A hallmark of the Sinai Akiba Academy Middle School experience is an overnight trip for each grade, including an outdoor education and team-building adventure for our sixth graders and an inspiring visit to Washington, D.C. for the seventh grade. The Sinai Akiba Middle School journey culminates in our transformative eighth grade trip to Israel—a capstone experience that deepens students’ spiritual connection, strengthens their understanding of Israel as the Jewish homeland, and marks a meaningful transition into Jewish adulthood. Beginning in seventh grade, our robust outplacement program provides individualized support for each student and their family, ensuring a smooth and successful progression to high school. We are proud that 100% of our graduates are accepted to their top-choice high schools, whether Jewish or secular. More than that— they leave us not only well-prepared, but ready to lead, to question, and to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

At Sinai Akiba Academy, Jewish Education is not a separate track—it is a fully integrated part of each student’s journey, from early childhood through eighth grade. As part of our dual curriculum, Jewish Education is taught with the same innovation and intention as General Studies. In order to inspire children to explore their roots and shape their Jewish identities, we engage them in a rich combination of learning: daily tefillah, study of Torah, biblical and rabbinic texts, family heritage projects, modern Hebrew language acquisition, holiday rituals, Jewish history, and critical engagement with the land and people of Israel. Through this multifaceted experience and high level academic program, our students develop both a personal and collective Jewish story as well as a deep sense of their Jewish identity. This year was bookended by our first Am Yisrael Chai assembly to mark the anniversary of October 7th and our eighth grade trip to Israel. In October, students, faculty, and parents joined together to celebrate Israel
through song. This age-appropriate approach allowed the entire Sinai Akiba community to demonstrate our Core Value of Ahavat Yisrael (love of Israel) and mark a day of mourning and remembrance by sharing why we love Israel. Middle School students had their own ceremony to mark October 7th, with a program designed to be particularly meaningful to them at this stage in their development. In May, SAA eighth grade students embarked on a 10-day journey of a lifetime as they traveled to Israel where they toured areas they have learned about for years in their Tanach classes.
From donkey rides in a town from the Mishnaic period, to celebrating Shabbat at the Kotel, this trip fostered a deep and meaningful connection to Israel and its people. In this post-October 7th era, educating Jewish students so that they can be advocates for Israel has never been so important. We know that many of our students have reflected on this trip as a defining moment in their education and their Jewish identity. The Israel experience has been generously subsidized
for over 10 years by SAA’s dear friend and Sinai community member
Judith A. Carmel z”l who passed away in March of 2025. We are so grateful to Judy and the Morris A. Hazan Family Foundation for their steadfast support and the enduring legacy they have created for our students through this culminating experience.

At Sinai Akiba Academy, we believe every Jewish child deserves access to a dynamic, high-quality, and values-driven Jewish education—regardless of financial circumstances. Our commitment to inclusion means we actively work to remove any barriers that may prevent a family from joining our community, including the cost of tuition. We proudly offer a range of programs to support this vision including a robust and confidential tuition assistance program and our signature Jewish Professionals Benefit Program, which provides 50% off tuition for children of parents employed by Jewish nonprofit organizations. Additionally, we are proud to offer merit scholarships to a prescribed number of incoming sixth graders who meet particular academic and character requirements. These initiatives reflect our belief that an investment in Jewish education strengthens not only the individual child but the entire Jewish future. None of this would be possible without the dedication and generosity of our families. We are deeply grateful to the parents whose tuition payments and philanthropic support allow us to sustain and grow these programs year after year. Their commitment to both their own children and the broader Jewish community ensures that Sinai Akiba remains a place of belonging, opportunity, and excellence. As the Admissions team, we are honored to welcome new families into this partnership—one that values diversity, access, and the collective responsibility of raising the next generation of confident, curious, and connected Jewish adults.

Over the past year, students engaged in a wide range of art projects that connected to both General Studies and Judaic Education. They studied the styles of various artists and worked with diverse media, including paint, clay, wood, plaster, printmaking, and recycled materials. Student artwork is proudly displayed throughout the school, reflecting their growth and creativity. Each spring, our annual art show celebrates their achievements. Last year’s “Art Show Café” highlighted imaginative food-inspired art.

The SAA Orchestra program inspires and empowers young musicians through five levels of ensembles, from beginner to advanced. With over 70 students participating, the program showcases both excellence and innovation. This past year, our newly established Middle School Chamber Ensemble recorded four songs at Westlake Studios, where legends like Michael Jackson and Madonna once created their greatest hits, in collaboration with SAA parent and music executive Ben Maddahi. Beyond the recording studio, our orchestras shine in formal concerts, community celebrations, and highprofile events such as Jewish Heritage Night with the LA Clippers.

In 2024, we added photography to the list of electives available to our middle schoolers. SAA alumna Meka Tome (’13) taught all aspects of beginning photography, including composition, color, and printing. The budding photographers proudly displayed their final prints at the end-of-year showcase.

This past year, the J-STEAM Innovation Lab inspired students across all grades to bring ideas to life through hands-on projects that blended creativity, problem-solving, and Jewish values. Lower School students explored cardboard engineering, stopmotion animation, and 3D printed Hanukkiahs, while middle schoolers dove into coding drones, robotics, and 3D artistic interpretations of Tanach stories. From designing to collaborating, students strengthened critical thinking and innovation skills, making the Innovation Lab a vibrant space where curiosity and creativity thrive.
We were excited to expand our performing arts offerings last year by launching a Middle School dance elective led by professional dancer and SAA parent, Courtney Platt. Our vision for the future of our arts program includes expanded dance opportunities so that more students may take part in this very popular elective!

The Middle School Theatre Department is thriving and continues to grow. This past year, we produced the classic farce, “Noises Off”, and the imaginative fairytale, “Goldilocks on Trial”, to great enthusiasm. Students in our trimesterlong theatre elective explore all aspects of stagecraft, from acting and set design to lighting and sound. The dedicated crew also learns essential behind-the-scenes artistry. The upcoming 2025–2026 season will feature “The Outsiders” and “The Hare and the Tortoise 2.0”.

Our program has truly blossomed, allowing young artists to build confidence and self-expression through a shared sense of collaboration.

The 2024-2025 year of Jaguars Athletics was outstanding! Our varsity and 5th grade girls basketball teams, along with our JV boys team and our 6th and 7th grade girls soccer team, all finished as undefeated league champions! Our 6th grade girls volleyball team also made history by winning the first-ever girls volleyball trophy for the Jaguars. These remarkable achievements highlight the talent and growth of our student athletes.

Last year, our Sinai Akiba community was the beneficiary of the remarkable power of collective generosity. Our philanthropy program reached new heights that are visible all over campus. The spirit of giving, fueled by the unwavering support of our dedicated community, surpassed our goals and transformed several areas of our campus, making tangible differences that were seen and felt by every student, faculty member and family.
One of the most immediate and visually striking outcomes of last year’s philanthropic efforts was the remarkable transformation of three beloved campus spaces: The Jacki & Jeff Karsh Terrace, the Marc Becker Patio, and Jonah’s Play Yard in the DFECC. These enhancements were not just cosmetic; they represent a thoughtful reimagining of SAA’s outdoor environments that now mirror the exceptional educational experience that defines SAA.
Beyond these physical enhancements, the backbone of our philanthropic program remains the Sinai Akiba Fund, which soared to a remarkable 15-year high! Once again, the Robert M. Beren Family Foundation provided a generous matching gift on Giving Tuesday that provided a significant infusion to this year’s campaign, allowing us to surpass our goals and enrich our educational program even further. It also created an additional incentive for community members and
SAA families to make their yearly commitments early in the school year.
I want to acknowledge and thank Rob Galperson, SAA’s Board Chair and Ayelet Rosen, Development Committee Chair, for their dedication to our school and their partnership throughout the year. To Rona Heifetz, our Annual Fund Chair, Stacey Jasper, Vice Chair and all our incredible Sinai Akiba Fund grade representatives, thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of SAA. Together, your energy, enthusiasm and passion for SAA led us to reach this financial milestone and provide our teachers and students with the tools and resources needed to elevate and enrich their classrooms and the learning experience for every child.
In addition to the three capital projects mentioned earlier (see pages 27, 28 & 29 of this report) there were other major gifts directed towards specific SAA initiatives including:
➜ Tuition Assistance
This critical support opened doors to more families, enabling access to the richness and high quality education that Sinai Akiba provides. We are so grateful to families in our community for their commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that financial circumstances are not a barrier to enrollment.
➜ Douglas Family Early Childhood Center (DFECC)
➜ Professional Development
SAA received funding for a specific initiative focused on the social and emotional development of students. This support allowed educators to receive advanced training and attend workshops, bringing new teaching approaches into their classrooms.
➜ Sinai Akiba Endowment Fund
The school’s endowment is one of the largest endowments among Jewish day schools in the country, and received two new contributions. These funds provide additional revenue for SAA’s operating budget. We are so thankful to the families who have contributed to its growth over many decades, and to those who continue to make new donations.
The steadfast support from the Douglas Family Foundation over the years has continued to support our youngest learners in our thriving early childhood program. The DFECC is often the gateway to a lifetime of learning and affiliation with the Sinai community and we are so grateful for this enduring partnership.
To all of the donors listed in this report, thank you for what you make possible for Sinai Akiba. In every corner of our campus, from newly transformed spaces to enriched classrooms, to greater support for our faculty and families, the success of last year’s philanthropy program is undeniable. It represents the strength and generosity of our community, affirming that when we invest in Sinai Akiba, the returns are exceptional, and we are shaping brighter futures for all.
With much gratitude, Janet Rosenblum Director of Philanthropy & Donor Relations

We kicked off the Sinai Akiba Fund with a special event, now an annual tradition, exclusively for families contributing $1,000 or more. Our heartfelt thanks to Roxanna and Ben Maddahi for graciously hosting in their beautiful home. Guests enjoyed not only wonderful food and great company, but also the thrill of cheering the Dodgers on to victory in the final game of the 2024 World Series. It was truly a memorable evening!

#GivingTuesday once again worked its magic at SAA raising nearly half of our Annual Fund revenue in just one day! We are deeply grateful to the Robert M. Beren Family Foundation and the Platt family for their generous matching gift, which jump-started the campaign and inspired so many families to give. Thanks to their leadership and the enthusiasm of our community, over 250 families said yes to supporting Sinai Akiba.
A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our incredible Annual Fund grade reps, Board members, and volunteers who showed up in full force – calling, texting and rallying support. Your dedication and energy are a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together as a community.

Sinai Akiba’s Leadership Circle Event was a memorable evening filled with laughter, connection and community. Reserved for donors who support Sinai Akiba at the $3,600 level or above, the event was held at the beautiful home of Jacki and Jeff Karsh. Guests enjoyed a hilarious performance by comedian Dan Ahdoot and celebrated the impact of SAA’s philanthropic efforts. Dr. Lauren Plant expressed her gratitude for all that has been made possible by the collective generosity of our leadership donors.

Sinai Akiba Academy gratefully acknowledges all of the other members of our community who made this special project possible.

In October, we officially dedicated the new Jacki & Jeff Karsh Terrace with a ribbon-cutting and mezuzah hanging ceremony. This stunning outdoor space has transformed the former rooftop of our urban campus into a vibrant, green gathering place. It has quickly become a favorite place for students to eat lunch and play. Teachers also love to use Karsh Terrace for science and music lessons, or simply to enjoy some fresh air outside the classroom. The new venue has become a go-to space for community gatherings throughout the Sinai community. In the first year alone, the Jacki & Jeff Karsh Terrace served as the venue for SAA’s new parent reception and eighth grade graduation, as well as meaningful Sinai life cycle celebrations including b’nai mitzvah Kiddush lunches, baby naming ceremonies, and even our first rooftop wedding.
We are truly grateful to Jacki and Jeff Karsh for making this beautiful space possible. Their generosity will enrich our community for years to come, fostering countless moments of connection and learning for our students, and celebration and joy for the Sinai community as a whole.

The heartfelt love behind this patio reflects just how deeply Marc touched the lives of others. May this patio embrace future generations, as Sinai Akiba embraced Marc, and may the spirit of who he was continue to shine though the lives it touches.
–
Rosanne & Norman Becker (Marc’s parents)

We were delighted to open and officially dedicate the new Marc Becker Patio in loving memory of Sinai Akiba alumn Marc Becker z”l, who passed away in August of 2023. The beautiful refurbished patio includes a new dining terrace, rock climbing wall, two custom murals and a new sports court that is now used by SAA students for lunch and recess. The fundraising for the project was a community-wide effort led by Marc’s former Sinai Akiba classmates Jonah Platt and Daniel Taban (class of 2000), his family, friends and community members.
A special reception was held in the spring to officially dedicate the patio and to showcase what was made possible through the collective generosity of all who supported the project.

Thanks to the generosity of Abigail Goldman, Jonathan Anschell and Sarah Anschell, given in loving memory of their beloved son and brother, Jonah Anschell z”l, Jonah’s Play Yard has become a vibrant and joyful reality for our youngest students.
This beautifully reimagined space now features a dynamic new play structure and a variety of thoughtfully designed activities that spark creativity, exploration, and imaginative play. Every element of the renovated yard invites discovery, movement, and connection, while supporting the social, emotional, and physical growth of our early learners.
We are profoundly grateful to the Anschell/Goldman family for their vision and generosity in dedicating this special space. It is a meaningful tribute to Jonah’s spirit and a lasting gift to generations of children who will laugh, play, and grow in this nurturing environment.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day was a tremendous success this year! We were thrilled to expand the celebration to include all Lower School students, from kindergarten through fifth grade. Over 300 grandparents and special friends joined us on campus to experience the vibrancy of our school community in action. The day featured joyful performances in music, dance, and innovation, meaningful classroom visits and our beloved annual art show, where every student proudly shared their work.
Grandparents and special friends are an essential part of our community, enriching our students’ lives in meaningful ways. We encourage them to join us throughout the year for school performances, athletic events, Shabbat and holiday celebrations.
We are especially grateful to the many grandparents and special friends who supported the Sinai Akiba Fund. Their generosity helps provide exceptional programs and resources that go above and beyond what tuition covers.
We invite ALL grandparents to be part of this impact by supporting the Sinai Akiba Fund, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to those who already do!

Over the years, Sinai Akiba has benefited from several endowed funds and special gifts that provide both immediate and long-term benefits to the school. As of June 30, 2025, our SAA’s total endowment holdings were over $32 million. We thank the following families for their ongoing investment in SAA.

The SAA Class of 2005 celebrated their 20-year reunion in June, gathering at the home of Matt Felker. It was truly special to celebrate the milestone and to bring the class back to a familiar place. The Felker family also hosted the class’s pre-college get-together their senior year of high-school, creating a full-circle moment of shared memories.
A heartfelt thank you to Matt and fellow alumnus Justin Benham, who made this wonderful reunion possible by rallying all their classmates.

Many SAA alumni joined Sinai Temple March of the Living trip to Poland this past spring. They visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau camps, continuing to strengthen their Jewish identity beyond SAA.

We love welcoming alumni back to campus. We were especially delighted when Jonah Smiedt, now a junior at Campbell Hall, and Eden Waldman, a junior at Marlborough — both members of the SAA class of 2023 — returned to speak with our eighth grade students just before their graduation. They shared insights about their high school experiences, offering advice and a glimpse of what our graduates can expect as they begin this next chapter.

A special thank you to all of our treasured volunteers who partner with us every day in enhancing the lives of students and building bright futures. Our school is fortunate to have you leading the community!
