The PSNP or otherwise called Unleashing the productive capacity of poor people through Graduation Approach is 2.5 years (July 2019 – December 2021) project located in Asagirt Woreda, North Shewa Zone, Amhara National Regional State (ANRS) and is implemented with funding from Irish Aid(IA). The government executing agency being the North Shewa Zone of ANRS Department of Finance & Economic Cooperation, and ANRS of North Shewa Zone Agricultural and Natural Resource Department through the partnership with Self Help Africa (SHA) who are the implementing agency.
The IHM study was conducted to establish baseline data on the following project outcomes indicators:
• Increased average disposable income
• And equally understand the drivers of sustained food and nutrition insecurity for chronically and transitory food insecure households (Mostly in the lower quintiles 1&2), and.
• come with conclusions and recommendations on how to improve programme implementation
