generosa sanno produrre e attestano che, a dispetto di tutto e tutti, la vita e la libertà sono parte integrante di questi Paesi. In definitiva, un canto infinito di libertà e bellezza che supera e cancella le barriere ideologiche, sociali e culturali. Vogliamo ringraziare Luciano Benetton per averci permesso di creare uno spazio di espressione collettiva aperto a tanti artisti latinoamericani. Grazie a ognuno di loro, inclusi quelli che vivono in Europa o in altri continenti. Ringraziamo inoltre tutti coloro ai quali per mancanza di spazio e di tempo non abbiamo potuto offrire questa opportunità e i tanti che hanno collaborato con noi per la realizzazione di questa iniziativa. Più che mai consapevoli che non esiste sviluppo senza arte e senza cultura, vi presentiamo la raccolta “Ojo Latino”, uno sguardo diverso da e sull’America Latina che dimostra come le differenze possano essere trasformate in un arricchimento e contribuire alla formazione di un’identità sempre rinnovata e ritrovata.

In short, this artwork stands as a ceaseless hymn to freedom and beauty that overcomes and even eradicates ideological, social and cultural barriers. Wo would like to thank Luciano Benetton for allowing us to create a space for collective expression accessible to so many Latin Amercan artists. And thanks to each one of the participants, including those living in Europe and other continents. Finally, we wish to thank all those to whom we were unable to offer this opportunity due to lack of time or space and the many others who worked with us to make the project a reality. With an ever-greater awareness that development cannot occur without art and culture, we present the “Ojo Latino” collection, a distinctive vision from and of Latin America which demonstrates that differences can be transformed into a resource and contribute to the formation of a constantly renewed and reclaimed identity.
