EAT/DRINK IN SILICON BEACH Beach Breakfast at Martha's The locals love this place for being right at the beach! Bring your pooch and head out to Martha’s for beach breakfast or brunch. There may be a line, but you can get in a walk along the beach in the meantime. Foodies love their hummus omelet and it was really flavorful and also if you like goat cheese, pick this omelet. The goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes was a fabulous combination. They sometimes pour coffee out to waiting guests and make sure you look at their Huevos Playa (we added Jalapeùos chicken sausage that they only offer on Sundays) and the Sausage, Mushroom, Cheddar Cheese Omelet, multiple selections of Egg Benedicts and best French toast! This is a great outdoor breakfast location and the ambience is very relaxing and trendy. You get the perfect view of the beach. Open daily at 7AM to 3PM. HEALTHY BITES IN SILICON BEACH
Springtime Veggie Avocado Salad Ingredients •1 8oz can chickpeas, drained & rinsed •1 sprig of Tomatoes on the Vine •3 medium ripe avocados, diced •1/4 medium cooked butternut squash, chopped into small squares •1/2 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced •1/2 cup pea shoots •1/4 cup sliced yellow bell pepper •1/4 cup watermelon radish, thinly sliced •Romaine or Wilted Lettuce
For the Dressing: 1/3 C Mayonnaise 1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tsp Lemon Juice 2 tsp Garlic minced, about 2 med cloves 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt Fresh Ground Pepper to taste For the Dressing: Place the mayo, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, salt and a few grinds of pepper in a small mixing bowl and whisk with a fork or mini whisk. Set aside. Instructions: In a large bowl, add all ingredients and gently drip dressing over.
