FROM THE DESK OF

Allen Fredrickson

I was recently in a meeting with some of our colleagues about our growth efforts and I made the following statement:

“We got to give it hell!”

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we know that our future is just beginning, and we are spending a substantial amount of time and investment in developing what we call the “Signature of tomorrow.” In order for us to be in this position many factors need to be true. We need to be in a strong financial position, have

a positive reputation in the market, offer desirable products and services, possess intellectual strength, and be prepared with a strong Associate base, ready to take on the biggest challenges in healthcare. The Signature of tomorrow needs a favorable market. And the market needs Signature. Healthcare administration costs and waste are at an all-time high, healthcare providers (clinicians and nurses) are leaving the industry at astonishing rates because they are simply fed up with the administrative burdens, and healthcare outcomes in the United

States are the most expensive in the world without having the outcomes to match.

Now, it’s time to step up and make a big impact. As a member of the Signature team, you are at the heart of our mission. We are committed to providing you with every opportunity to work on high-impact projects, recognizing your potential to shape the future of healthcare.

In response, we will amplify our message in the industry, putting the stake in the ground that Signature

is the solution to the healthcare administrative crisis. We are going to do this in a myriad of ways through storytelling. Research continually shows that storytelling is one of the best ways to connect with your audience intellectually and emotionally - and we have some fantastic stories to tell. Our Signature Stories tell the story of improving healthcare by sustaining hospitals through improved processes and execution, transforming patients/ Veterans/civilians’ access to care, impacting the quality of the provider and patient experience, and helping payers pay claims more accurately, timely, and efficiently. We have developed industry-leading technology to streamline processes to reduce administrative steps and burdens.

As we prepare to share our story with the market, I am filled with excitement and confidence. I believe now is the time for us to give our all. The stakes are high, but I have no doubt that we are ready to rise to the challenge.

How are you going to give it hell? Is it through high-levels of performance as you contribute to our story? Is it by bringing your innovative ideas to the forefront? Is it by encouraging the industry’s best and brightest to join the Signature team? Is it by expanding the role we solve for our clients? Is it by signing new clients to Signature? Each of us needs to elevate and do our part. Just know that I am here with you and bringing my best, and I’m proud to play big alongside you. The time is now - let’s get it!

Awards & Recognition

Each year, Signature Performance is deeply honored to be recognized by various community and industry organizations. As 2024 marks a milestone year at Signature, the recognition we receive holds an even deeper meaning as it underscores our 20-year commitment to transforming healthcare, embracing belonging, and elevating industry standards.

2024 Business Excellence Award in Innovation Presented by Greater Omaha Chamber

Since Signature Performance’s inception in 2004, we’ve blazed new trails in the healthcare industry and pioneered innovative solutions to benefit our nationwide workforce. Innovation has been the foundation of our success, and it is a distinct privilege to be named a recipient of the 2024 Business Excellence Awards in the category of Innovation by the Greater Omaha Chamber.

Our mission is to improve the health of our clients’ business and make the lives of the people we work with better. A mission of this nature requires two distinct approaches to innovation.

Innovation in Healthcare

Signature Performance is positioned to transform healthcare, starting with improving the experience for our Veterans. Harnessing new technology and AI, Signature developed ClaimsXM, a data-driven approach that streamlines repetitive tasks, reducing the manual challenges associated with claims administration. Innovation in healthcare looks like building solutions that address and efficiently streamline medical claims processing.

Innovation in the Associate Experience

Challenged by a global pandemic that sparked the world of remote work, Signature looked inward and asked how Associates could be better served. Four years later, innovation shows up in the ways we connect, inspire, and build our team. In 2023, we launched new DEI and Belonging initiatives, including Connection Points and the Diversity Circle. Innovation in the Associate experience looks like meeting our team members where they are with the resources they need to grow, belong, and thrive at Signature.

We know that some of the best ideas happen when you can bring together subject matter experts, front-line talent, and departmental leadership. We are especially proud to deliver a level of excellence to our clients and Associates that we are proud to place our signature on.

2024 Three-Star Employer Award

Presented by VETS Indexes

As we serve the Department of Veterans Affairs and the healthcare administrative industry, our Veteraninclusive programs, policies, and initiatives are of utmost importance to cultivating the Associate experience. In recognition of our support of military-connected community members, Signature was recognized for the fourth time by VETS Indexes Employer Awards, and we are proud to have been named a 2024 Three-Star Employer!

Signature has consistently been recognized as a best-in-class employer for our thoughtful policies, practices, and benefits for Veterans and their families. At Signature, Veterans have a unique opportunity to leverage their specialized training and mission-critical mindset to improve the health of our clients’ business and make the lives of the people we work with better.

“As a 20-year Air Force Veteran, it was important to me to find another opportunity to continue serving after retirement. I am so grateful that I found a home at Signature Performance. Our core values of passion, courage, integrity, and respect resonate with me in a big way because they closely align with the core values I grew up with in the Air Force. I also take pride in knowing the work I do allows me to continue serving the Veteran community. Signature genuinely values the diverse views and experiences of all their Associates, and I am proud to be a part of Signature Performance.”

The VETS Indexes program evaluates the most important Veteran employment metrics in companies worldwide, honoring employers who distinguish themselves from their peers. We are honored to carefully align our efforts with VETS Indexes standards to ensure Signature provides the best opportunities possible for those who once served our great nation and are now serving our mission.

Uncommon Healthcare Starts Here

Signature is dedicated to solving and reducing administrative costs and burdens in healthcare. We make an impact by sitting in the rare space of payers and providers in both the public and private sectors. Our Associates work on a variety of projects - sometimes interactively and sometimes separately. That’s why we created the new Signature YOU live course, titled Uncommon Healthcare Starts Here.

This live course, which debuted in May, is designed to help Associates get a bird’s-eye view of Signature’s offerings in the healthcare industry and a better understanding of how their role impacts both Signature and the healthcare industry overall.

“We wanted a course that helps Associates get more context on how Signature has changed the industry for the better,” Andrew Ciochetto, Instructional Designer, said. “It’s a way for Associates to connect the dots on how big of an impact they make through all the work they do. The course has quickly become a favorite for our Associates.”

Our Chief of Staff, Chris Vairo, leads the course using his vast knowledge of the healthcare industry and his experience in sharing Signature’s story. Chris and Allen Fredrickson, Signature’s CEO and Founder, have

worked together in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years.

Understanding Healthcare Trends and Signature’s Solutions

During this live course, learners review the value Signature brings to the healthcare industry, where administrative costs make up roughly 40% of the total cost of healthcare. Our goal is to bring that number down by hiring and retaining incredible people, reducing and streamlining administrative processes, and creating and utilizing superior technology.

“Chris was able to explain how the origins of the company and Allen’s vision has placed us in a unique spot to support the reduction of financial burdens on rural and government medical programs,” Maribeth Burrows, Talent Operations Representative, said.

Reducing administrative costs in healthcare isn’t an easy task. There are several reasons these costs keep rising, including more complex medical cases, especially with an aging population, and organizations who benefit from the complicated system.

“I learned in further detail why it is hard to reduce healthcare costs in the industry,” Lauren Johnson, VA Claims Processing QA Manager, said. “The legislative and regulatory uncertainty alone makes it very challenging to reduce costs, not to mention the increasing labor costs due to traveling employees.”

Fortunately, Signature is tackling these costs and burdens in several ways. During the live course, Associates get to hear about some of Signature’s success stories including ClaimsXM’s 94% autoadjudication rate, CAEC’s 93% first call resolution rate, and the 25% increase in collection rates one acute midwest hospital has seen as a result of SPHC’s work. Chris goes on to put these statistics into perspective by emphasizing how Signature’s work on the administrative side can help hospitals and providers purchase life-saving equipment like CT scanners and ICU rooms.

“If we can impact the industry by reducing administrative burden, it will allow hospitals to thrive,” Chris said. “That would result in things like better quality of care to patients, more testing, and improved access.”

In a recent live session, participants asked about the effects of things like potential political changes, an

increased use of artificial intelligence, and technology enhancements may have on Signature’s work in the healthcare industry.

“One of the things I enjoy about healthcare is that it changes all the time,” Chris said. “It’s so dynamic. I see these changes as opportunities for our business to grow as we expand our services in the industry.”

While the Uncommon Healthcare Starts Here live course focuses on the success of Signature’s existing solutions, Associates who are interested in learning more about future projects and innovations can take another Signature YOU live course: Healthcare Today and Tomorrow, which is taught by Dr. Leo Greenstone, Signature’s Chief Medical Officer.

“I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Greenstone and the work he’s doing,” Chris said. “He has medical

knowledge, and he has the business mind about processes, as well. That’s where the magic really happens.”

Celebrating Our Associates

In addition to reviewing Signature’s role in the industry, this live course intends to inspire Associates and highlight how their individual roles at Signature are impacting healthcare.

“The bottom line is that it’s all of you who make this possible,” Chris said. “That’s what makes this success story so easy, which allows me to be so passionate in what we do and allows our business development team to tell stories to future clients who really want and need our services. My hat’s off to all of you for all the hard work you’re doing. It makes my life, our Veteran’s lives, and all the patient’s lives better.

You play a part in the success and outcomes of patients because of what we do. It may be indirect, but you play a part.”

See You at the Next Session!

The first sessions of this live course filled up quickly, showing that Signature Associates are eager to learn more about our company and the healthcare industry. To ensure that live courses allow opportunities for connection and participation, seats for each session are limited, but this course will be offered regularly. Associates can keep an eye on the Monday Memo to see when this course will be offered next. Until then, if you run into Chris, he’ll happily share a story or two.

Associates on How Their Role Impacts Signature’s Vision of Lowering Administrative Costs and Burdens:

“In Talent Operations, I make sure the concerns of Signature Associates are being taken care so they take care of the patients and providers we serve. Hearing Associates voice their concerns makes me work harder to validate their tremendous impact and the forever need for their roles.”

“My role impacts Signature’s mission because I get the opportunity to speak directly with Veterans and their beneficiaries about how ChampVA reduces their healthcare costs and I am able to provide further explanation on some of the benefits that the VA provides for them.”

“I feel like I’m making a difference here at Signature. I always strive to make a positive impression on everyone I interact with and I feel like at Signature I am able to accomplish that goal, whether it’s with one of my team members or someone that is calling in for assistance.”

A Tuition Reimbursement Success Story

Education is one of the most powerful tools we can use to change our lives. Our tuition reimbursement program is proof of this, as seen through the inspiring journey of one dedicated Associate.

Shasta Johnson, Vice President of Business Transformation, recently obtained her Bachelor of Science in Project Management from Bellevue University.

“This has been a long-term goal of mine, and I’m thrilled to have achieved it 35 years after my first class,” Shasta said.

Signature’s tuition reimbursement program provides Associates with encouragement and financial incentive to develop personally and professionally. Associates who continue or expand their education by taking approved programs at accredited institutions, or through known certification organizations, may receive tuition reimbursement for up to $1,000 per calendar year.

Additionally, Signature has a partnership with Bellevue University. As part of this partnership, if an Associate enrolls in a course through Bellevue University, they may apply for up to $4,500 in tuition reimbursement. Associates’ immediate family members may also receive up to $2,500 in tuition reimbursement each year with this program. Bellevue offers courses which are 100% online in a variety of programs including Business Administration, Healthcare Management, and Human Resources.

“Signature’s partnership with Bellevue University was the catalyst for me to return to school and keep the promise I made to my younger self to go to college and obtain a degree,” Shasta said.

Although Shasta has been in project management for many years, she wanted to see if a formal education program in project management could expand her resources and knowledge in the area.

“Getting my degree wasn’t so much about learning a new skill,” Shasta said. “It was about deepening my level of mastery. Some of the knowledge I gained was learning the formal names of concepts I had been using for many years as well as the background, logic, and rationale of those concepts.”

Shasta put her project management experience to work right away as she added full-time student to her list of titles. Upon enrolling, Shasta mapped out her plan for the entire program, including scheduling time to spend on work, school, and her family.

“I reviewed all of the assignments, then planned them out on my schedule. Then I stuck with the plan no matter what,” Shasta said. “I basically treated it as a project. Made a plan and executed it without deviation unless the plan itself needed to be updated.”

Next on her plan? Shasta will continue being curious and expanding her knowledge through self-study and experiential learning. Right now, she’s focused on

A CONVERSATION WITH

increasing her knowledge on the latest IT industry standards for security. And it’s possible Shasta will decide to use Signature’s Tuition Reimbursement benefit again in the future now that she sees the tremendous benefits it can bring.

“Getting my degree has not only enhanced my skills and knowledge but also provided me with additional credibility and confidence in my role,” Shasta said.

Associates who wish to use the tuition reimbursement benefit should complete an educational development plan, which can be found on the Intranet. A member of Talent Operations will then work with the Associate to review their career development goals and understand how the program of study will impact their work at Signature. Tuition reimbursement may be available for courses that contribute to the Associate’s general career development and relate to Signature’s mission.

“I truly hope Signature Associates will be inspired to take advantage of the opportunity no matter where they are in their career,” Shasta said.

“Increasing mastery of and expanding your depth of knowledge helps us do our jobs better.”

We’re proud of our Signature Performance team and want to give those who are motivated to learn more opportunities to do so.

A Match Made in Healthcare

Starting a new job may often feel like it’s the first day of school all over again. As a child not only did you learn the ropes of the classroom and navigate the lunch line, you likely spent time wondering if you would find friendship in your new environment.

Ashtyn Hebert, CAEC Customer Representative, and Jeannie Hamilton, CAEC Customer Representative, didn’t have to wonder for long as they quickly found a connection at Signature. While the pair’s friendship began in a virtual training classroom, their experiences in Emerging Leaders, our in-house leadership lab, brought them face-to-face in Omaha and strengthened their connection.

Connecting in the Classroom

With Associates spread across the nation, many of Signature’s training experiences take place in a dynamic virtual classroom. Despite the digital setting, Signature is dedicated to fostering connections among our newest team members. These bonds often extend beyond the training period, with many classes continuing to stay in touch via Teams long after training concludes.

As Ashtyn and Jeannie experienced training together, they found mutual support was pivotal in learning the ropes of their new career. The presence of a fellow Associate provided them with not only a metaphorical shoulder to lean on but also a companion to share in the joy of their achievements.

“Our training experience at Signature was better because we had each other for support. From helping each other with an update we didn’t quite understand to sharing a funny GIF, having a friend through training positively impacted integrating at Signature,” Jeannie said. “I am so grateful that I could transition to the next level with Ashtyn and work on the same team. We continue to support each other and have a habit of reaching out to each other to share when opportunities, like Emerging Leaders, arise.”

At Signature, we know virtual experiences can be a powerful opportunity to link our nationwide workforce to our mission of improving the health of our clients’ business and making the lives of the people we work with better. For Ashtyn and Jeannie, their link began in the training classroom and continues to impact our operations.

Finding Their Stride

We know that friendship at work, especially amongst physically distant teams, contributes to a thriving Associate experience, leading to higher engagement and satisfaction. Rachael Lewis, Operations Manager, often reminds her team that a best friend at work is a necessary source of connection and support.

“Jeannie and Ashtyn provide support, motivation, and encouragement to not only each other but their team,” Rachael

Say Hello!

said. “Having a friend at work helps give a sense of belonging, provides support and motivation, and also decreases feelings of stress and burnout by being able to talk to someone, especially in a time of need.”

Recent Gallup data has shown having a best friend at work is strongly linked to positive business outcomes, including talent retention. Jeannie says her friendship with Ashtyn has inspired her to pursue growth and development opportunities she otherwise may not have considered had she been alone in the decision.

“Ashtyn, above all, never forgets about me. She is always checking in with me and I am with her,” Jeannie said. “It feels so great to have a friend at Signature with a heart of gold who is always striving to make those around her better.”

Emerging as Leaders

Emerging Leaders is not just a program; it’s a transformative nine-month, in-house leadership development lab designed for the trailblazers among us. After consulting with each other, Ashtyn

Friendship starts small and with simplicity; you don’t need to share your life story to initiate a friendship. We know it takes courage to introduce yourself to someone new, so try slipping your introduction into another conversation. Whether you message another Associate who joined Signature LIVE or ask a passerby where to find supplies in the office, find reasons to make a connection, no matter how small it may be. Saying hello is just the beginning; every interaction is an opportunity to spark a connection.

Be Accessible!

And no, we aren’t talking about being responsive to email or managerial requests. When you make an intentional effort to be present at Signature, you’ll discover more ways to naturally grow your workplace relationships. Instead of scrolling on your phone over lunch, invite a fellow Associate to join your table, or Zoom lunch, and get to know them. Members of our remote workforce can take a few minutes of their day to send a thoughtful Pat on the Back before finishing out the day’s responsibilities.

Engage in the Culture!

While you don’t need to learn everything at once, it’s important to jump into a couple of Signature’s engagement opportunities. From attending our weekly broadcast to joining us at a Connection Point event, our Associates have the chance to attend curated engagements throughout the year. Whether you’re new to the team or a career-long Associate, many friendships have started at these engagements, so make an effort to attend and mingle!

and Jeannie decided to seize the opportunity and apply to develop their leadership mindset, crossing their fingers they would get to experience the program together.

Ashtyn credits her friendship with Jeannie as a pivotal factor in her decision to dive deeper into Signature’s programs, sparking a greater desire for professional growth. Our recent Associate Engagement Survey reveals a powerful insight:

“I have Signature Performance to thank for this friendship, and I will forever be grateful to have such an amazing human, like Jeannie, in my life.”
-Ashtyn Hebert | CAEC Customer Representative

“Knowing we were both accepted to experience Emerging Leaders, I cried happy tears. I am so happy to be alongside Jeannie as she grows in Emerging Leaders,” Ashtyn said. “Jeannie has been my biggest cheerleader at Signature. To go on this journey together and get to watch her grow brings me joy because she is capable of so much.”

Emerging Leaders consists of weekly classes, collaborative engagements, dedicated mentorship, and the camaraderie of a cohort. In addition, the program’s Learning Symposiums bring leaders to our Omaha headquarters each year. It is here where Ashtyn and Jeannie met face-to-face after more than a year of long-distance friendship.

“Emerging Leaders allowed us to meet in person, and I got a BIG HUG from Jeannie when she arrived in Omaha. We sat down and learned more about each other’s lives and who we are on a deeper level,” Ashtyn said. “You can talk on the phone or send reels back and forth and laugh with each other but it doesn’t compare to the one-on-one human interaction we shared during Symposium. I feel closer and more connected with Jeannie since I met her in person, and my Signature experience would not be the same without her.”

Associates who engage in Signature-sponsored programs, like Emerging Leaders, are 16% more likely to have a trusted friend at work compared to those who don’t participate. This statistic is brought to life by the hundreds of stories of Associates who, like Ashtyn and Jeannie, have discovered their closest friends at Signature Performance.

“Associates who engage

in

Signature-sponsored programs, like Emerging Leaders, are 16% more likely to have a trusted friend at work compared to those who don’t participate.”

Founder and CEO, Allen Fredrickson, has generously offered an annual Signature Performance Scholarship for our Associates’ children for over the last ten years. Each year, an annual Scholarship Committee is appointed; the 2024 committee was comprised of Marc DuBois, Chief Growth Officer, Donald Newsom Director of IT Infrastructure Operations, Amber Schmit, Talent Operations Manager, Kaylie Honz, Internal Communications Manager, and Brianna Gable, Corporate Communications Coordinator. The Scholarship Committee at Signature Performance is dedicated to selecting deserving students for financial assistance in alignment with our core values of Passion, Integrity, Courage, and Respect. Year after year, it is an honor and privilege for the committee members to have a small glimpse into the impactful lives the students are creating for themselves. We congratulate this year’s scholarship recipients and recognize all of our Associates raising children who will become the next generation of difference makers.

At Signature Performance, we believe that in order to fulfill our desire to change the industry of healthcare, we must first change the lives of the people we work with. This means the people we interact with each day, pass in the halls, or chat with over Teams. We were pleased to host our first-ever Signature Performance Management Group (SPMG) Day of Giving in July.

Generosity fuels our mission. Our 2024 SPMG Day of Giving marked a significant milestone in our organization's history as we recommitted ourselves to making the lives of the people we work with better through Signature’s Associate Care Fund. The Associate Care Fund was established with the goal of providing relief to any Associate who is facing financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances. At some point in life, any of us may face a challenging situation and find ourselves in need of a helping hand. Thanks to the generosity of our SPMG Members, we will continue to help people recover in times of crisis.

Our Management Group collectively raised $6,000 in support of their fellow team members and Associates. This philanthropic effort was especially impactful as Signature graciously matched the donations made by our SPMG Members for the duration of the day. Combined with Signature’s dollar-for-dollar match, a total of $12,000 in donations replenished Signature’s Associate Care Fund, empowering us to positively impact the lives of our Associates.

At Signature Performance, we are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone can thrive and do the best work of their lives. We take pride in the uncommon culture we have cultivated and are blown away by support demonstrated throughout our first SPMG Day of Giving. Our Associates consistently demonstrate their commitment to uplifting one another and offering support in times of need. We are honored to have such a compassionate workforce that embodies our values every day.

Celebrating 20 Years of Signature Pride

Signature Performance is honored to support and participate in a variety of important LGBTQIA+ initiatives and events in recognition of Pride. We were thrilled to celebrate 20 years of Signature Pride with our Associates and our community this summer both in Omaha and nationwide.

Ramping up our excitement for the 2024 Heartland Pride festivities in Omaha, we hosted our first-ever Virtual Pride Parade experience to connect with our Associates near and far. This broadcast was designed to showcase our Associates, who we love, and what we support. With festive Zoom backgrounds and signs, over 70 Associates tuned in to showcase their Pride during our Virtual Parade.

“It’s important for Signature to create a safe space like this for Associates across the nation because it allows them to feel seen and as though they belong. Being a remote Associate myself, it is hard to connect with others. Offering events like the Virtual Pride Parade allows everyone to

get involved and express themselves,” Payton Daggett, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, said.

Festivities didn’t stop there as we were joined by over 50 Associates, friends, and family at the 2024 Heartland Pride Parade in downtown Omaha. The sun was hot, the colors were bright, and the smiles were contagious. “Attending the Heartland Pride Parade was a BLAST! Seeing everyone’s smiling faces, the joy, and pride to be marching alongside each other were my favorite parts of the event,” Payton said.

We were honored to celebrate the uniqueness of our Associates through this year’s Pride celebrations, however we won’t stop there. At Signature Performance, we are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone can thrive and do the best work of their lives.

If you are interested in learning more about Signature’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging, please reach out to a member of our Diversity Circle for more information or to learn more about how you can get involved.

“As a member of the community, Signature’s Pride celebrations showed me that my company respects me no matter my preference. It makes me and the community feel loved!”

“Virtual Pride meant everything to me. It makes a world of difference to know I work for a company who actually cares and supports our community and makes me feel welcome. I am proud to say I work for a company who sees me!”

“Signature offering a Virtual Pride Parade showcases how we lead with passion, courage, respect, and integrity. Experiences like these highlight how each Associate is genuinely valued and appreciated for who they are. The parade left me feeling more connected and empowered by my Signature family. I left with a deeper sense of acceptance and belonging within the Signature community.”

The Business of Healthcare A Signature Solution for Healthcare’s Biggest Challenges

According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, U.S. health care spending grew 4.1 percent in 2022, reaching $4.5 trillion or $13,493 per person. With healthcare costs accounting for over 17.3% of the United States GDP, there is no time like the present to get serious about what the future of healthcare could look like.

At Signature Performance, we are dedicated to transforming the healthcare industry from

burdensome and costly to efficient, affordable, and accessible. For the last 20 years, our team of healthcare administrative professionals have been focused on the heartbeat of the industry and are committed to designing applicable solutions and strategies that make the healthcare industry healthier.

When Signature’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Allen Fredrickson, created Signature Performance in 2004, he set out with a mission to deliver timely

and accurate payment of claims to military health facilities. Since then, our mission and purpose has developed and grown into a deep passion for improving the health of our clients’ business and making the lives of the people we work with better. What initially started as a new business venture, has grown into a movement of over 1,200 committed Associates across the country who are all working in collaboration to improve healthcare outcomes for providers, payers, and patients.

According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, U.S. Health Care Spending Grew

Sitting In-between Payers, Providers, Public, and Private Markets

One thing about healthcare that cannot be ignored is that the connection and functionality between patients, providers, and payers drives overall outcomes. Although each group has different needs and roles in the system, they all play a part in keeping the theoretical wheel of healthcare moving. When one group suffers, slows down, or stalls, so do the others.

Our team at Signature Performance is uniquely positioned in the epicenter of healthcare with deep knowledge and experience with both payers and providers in the federal and commercial markets. We believe our unmatched industry expertise gives us an uncommon chance to make huge strides in the industry.

That’s where our team is a little different than most. Many players in the healthcare space are not motivated or driven to decrease healthcare spending as a whole. You may be thinking…why? Why would everyone not want healthcare to be more affordable? The reality is that there is a direct correlation between overall healthcare spending and how

much money certain people have in their pocket at the end of the day. Which, let’s face it, everyone is in business to create some kind of revenue. But what if we could generate revenue in a way that puts the health back in healthcare? What if we could operate the business of healthcare with patient outcomes at the forefront? What if healthcare spending could not only decrease but go toward preventative solutions and highquality care?

At Signature Performance, we’re in the business of healthcare not just to make a profit but to transform the industry as a whole. We are dedicated and relentless in our quest to bend the curve of rising healthcare administrative costs. We believe we have a unique perspective and opportunity to combine our industry-leading

talent, streamlined administrative processes, and cutting-edge technology solutions to make a big impact in healthcare. By designing custom, client-specific solutions, our team of revenue cycle experts, medical coders, claims processors, customer experience representatives, and healthcare solution architects are able to cut out the middleman and reduce overall administrative costs and burdens. Our team at Signature can tackle any administrative burden big or small with a thoughtful, strategic approach.

A Signature Solution to the Physician Burnout Crisis

One of the biggest concerns plauging the healthcare industry is the physician burnout crisis. Burnout amongst physicians can be described by emotional and physical exhaustion, lack of connection to their patients and their profession, and a decreased sense of personal accomplishment. Burnout not only affects physicians and nurses but also has widespread consequences for patients and the broader healthcare ecosystem. Some of the factors leading to increased burnout include excessive administrative tasks, working long-extended

hours, and a lack of internal support at the organizational level. The healthcare system’s increasing complexity and the pressure to exceed financial and performance goals has put an unprecedented amount of stress on our nation’s healthcare providers.

Most providers are called to the healthcare industry because they have a deep passion for providing care to their patients. They entered the field of medicine to improve people’s lives and to make healthcare available and accessible for the communities they serve. But the truth is, physicians and nurses are experiencing burnout at unprecedented levels due to the large amount of administrative work falling on their shoulders. According to the Aspen Institute, some providers are spending up to 50% of their time on administrative functions. The amount of time and effort it takes providers to complete a simple administrative task, such as medical documentation, has soared due to an increase in administrative complexities such as EHR system implementations, coding procedures and medical documentation complications.

Physician Shortages

One of the biggest impacts of the physician burnout crisis is the onset of physician shortages. With the constant evolution of healthcare technology and regulations, physicians can quickly begin to experience burnout symptoms due to the ever-changing

landscape of the industry. For example, the time they once spent visiting with patients is now spent on a computer or in an office filing paperwork.

Unfortunately, the physical and emotional toll of increased administrative complexity is causing more and more healthcare providers to leave the industry mid-way through their careers. It is estimated that the United States will face a shortage of over 86,000 providers by 2036. The increase in administrative demands is causing physicians, nurses, and other clinical workers to lose the connection they have with their patients and many have opted to leave the industry in search of new career passions. With the shortage of providers on the rise, it is more important than ever to solve the administrative challenges facing healthcare so our communities can have access to the healthcare services they need.

Patient Care and Safety

In addition to the negative impacts on providers and healthcare organizations, the increase in administrative burdens is having a direct impact on patient experiences and outcomes. The lack of resources, time, and connectivity is forcing providers to spend less and less focused-time with their patients. A burnt-out provider can experience decreased attentiveness, impaired decisionmaking, and a higher likelihood of making critical errors when

diagnosing and treating patients. The reality is, patients are subject to facing serious consequences and diminished outcomes when their providers are being stretched too thin in their work. Additionally, burnout has been known to weaken the physicianpatient relationship due to a lack of empathy, understanding, and communication.

The Solution is Signature

At Signature Performance, we believe healthcare is a calling. A calling to make the lives of the people we work with better. We believe in the power of our nation’s physicians and nurses and are dedicated to streamlining administrative burdens and inefficiencies so their time and energy can be focused on what called them to healthcare in the first place.

Signature Performance is improving not only our clients’ business but the healthcare industry as a whole by finding strategic ways to leverage our team of healthcare professionals, our state-of-the-art technologies and our streamlined processes. By identifying new ways to streamline healthcare administrative functions it is our hope that we can be a part of the solution that can reduce physician burnout and transform the healthcare industry. Our extensive track record over the last 20 years with both payers and providers in the federal and commercial sectors proves that Signature is equipped to tackle any administrative burden with a thoughtful and strategic approach.

Lessons Learned at the 2024 DHITS Conference

In an ever-evolving industry such as healthcare, it’s important for healthcare professionals to stay current on trends, technologies, and cultivate connections that drive meaningful innovation aimed at improving the healthcare experience for provider, payers, and patients. With the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and regulatory landscape, staying informed is essential for long-term success within the industry. Among the nearly 2,500 military service and industry professionals who attended the 2024 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) were members of the Signature Performance team. Learn more about what our team found to be some of the most exciting aspects of this year’s conference.

The 2024 DHITS Conference fostered a collaborative environment where DHA leadership and industry experts came together to envision the future of healthcare. One of my key takeaways was the recurring theme in many of the sessions which was DHA’s commitment to reducing provider burden and enhancing the patient experience. I thoroughly enjoyed engaging with various companies across the industry, discussing their latest innovations, areas of focus, and perspectives on the current cybersecurity landscape.

During the 2024 DHITS Conference, it was clear that the DHA’s Digital Front Door initiative is setting the foundation for how AI will play an important role in not only ensuring patient safety and satisfaction but restoring the joy of practicing medicine as a whole. When AI is paired with the right quality controls that ensure accuracy and compliance, providers and patients both reap the benefits. This allows providers to be more focused on the patient during appointments due to the hands-free technology that an AI platform can provide. Patients benefit from this level of AI because they are given the opportunity to build a better connection with their physician, ultimately leading to a more engaging appointment, concise treatment plan, and stronger health outcome.

One of the biggest takeaways for me at the 2024 DHITS Conference was the critical technologies that were identified and of interest to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). A few that were discussed were ambient listening devices with automated medical coding for improving patient and provider experience along with wearable technologies, like the Oura ring, used for data collection from sensory devices, for proactive care and trend analysis. Despite ongoing efforts, data integration continues to be a significant need. The complexity and duration of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process was also a key focus. It was discussed that due to the duration of the ATO process, which averages 12 months, the software being reviewed often becomes outdated before the ATO is approved. The DHA is also focused on bringing more care back to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), with 60% of care currently provided in the community. This is spurring the need for innovation and improvements in provider efficiency and ease of access to care. It was wonderful to connect with the other solution providers and discuss strategies on how the industry can better support the DHA and their mission.

Nicknamed the “Sunshine State,” Florida boasts sunshine over 200 days per year on average, which attracts visitors from all over the country. Between the beaches, theme parks, and national parks, there is never a shortage of things to do or see while in the Sunshine State.

Over 45 of our Signature Associates are happy to call Florida their home. While most have never made it to our Omaha campus in person, they are finding ways to stay involved in Signature happenings and build connections with their teammates.

State Spotlight: Florida!!!

The greatest part about living in Florida is you wake up to the shining sun and palm trees all year long. Florida is known for Universal Studios, Sea World, Disney World, and so many more amazing theme parks. If you plan to visit the Sunshine State, I recommend International Drive, also known as I-Drive. It’s an experience you won’t forget, from different cultural events, restaurants, shopping, and many more fun things to do.

Signature offers amazing opportunities to help me stay connected while living in the southeastern most part of the country. We have Signature YOU, ALOHA, and many other events to establish a sense of belonging. I stay connected with other Associates through my Teams chats and have established great relationships with individuals that I communicate with on the phone - even though we’re all located in different parts of the country.

My favorite part of living in Florida is the warm, beautiful weather year round. I moved here from Washington state specifically for the beautiful weather. When visiting Florida, I highly recommend visiting any of the multiple beaches. My husband and I go to the beach every weekend to take in the beauty.

I stay connected to Signature and my team members by utilizing Teams every day as a platform to communicate. I maintain these connections by reaching out daily to my Supervisor and team members to at least say, “Hello, hope you have a good day!”

I have lived in Florida since I was six years old. My favorite part of living here is the weather. It is nice and sunny year round in Florida! Of course you have to visit Walt Disney World when you are here.

While I have yet to make it to the Signature campus in Omaha, I manage to stay connected with my fellow coworkers by chatting on Teams and attending virtual events as often as I can.

One of my favorite things about living in Florida is the weather, especially around Christmas time. It’s not too hot and not too cold. I was raised in sunny Florida and have lived here most of my life.

I have only been with Signature a little less than a year, so I am still working to get to know everyone on my team and meet new people. I find it easiest to stay connected with others through Teams chats.

My favorite part about living in Florida is you can be active all year round (which is good for overall health) because the weather is so wonderful, even in winter! We live on the Gulf side, so we get phenomenal sunsets. If you ever visit this area, you must plan on watching the sunset over the Gulf.

Technology makes it easier to stay connected even when we’re physically apart. Email, Teams, and other platforms make communicating with a colleague just like walking around the corner to a cubicle in an office building. In addition to that, monitoring our Intranet page to keep up with what’s happening in the company is key for me.

The Signature Experience Team

When Founder and Chief Executive Officer Allen Fredrickson started Signature twenty years ago, he created a legacy statement. This statement defined our aim and the impact we collectively want to make as we serve the healthcare industry. Our legacy statement declares - At Signature Performance, we are building a legacy. The Experience Team is not just focused but obsessed with making every detail seamless, every interaction impactful, and every connection memorable. They are passionate about building an experience that they are proud to place their signature upon.

Ample Opportunities to Sharpen Your Skills and Grow.

The Learning and Development team focuses on designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training opportunities to enhance Associate skills and knowledge, ensuring professional growth. We strengthen connections to the business, vision, mission, and values, facilitating Associates to exceed goals and make a difference in the healthcare industry. Additionally, we are responsible for programs and strategies that help Associates connect, grow, and build careers through various initiatives like Signature YOU, Emerging Leaders, and coaching.

Word on the Street

Something I wish people knew about my job is that being on the Quality Assurance team, we are always working a scheduled week behind when they receive recorded audits. The most rewarding part of the job is watching our Customer Service Representatives’ (CSR) progress on a week-to-week basis on their calls. It’s always incredible to see when CSRs receive feedback and then watch them apply their learnings on future calls!

One thing people don’t always know about my role is how much education we provide to our callers. We inform them about processes and policies so they have a more positive and seamless experience when they file their claims. A cool program that I have the opportunity to participate in is our Spark Program. I help mentor new Associates and connect with them while they are in training. I am a resource for education as well as moral support. I greatly look forward to supporting them!

I wish to help others understand that Accounting is storytelling through financial data; it’s interpreting the past and guiding future decisions. We’re not just entering figures into spreadsheets. We’re analyzing trends, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights that can significantly impact Signature’s direction. Currently, I’m working with the Information Technology Office on a project involving Unanet’s Utilization reporting capabilities. This project will ensure efficient allocation of resources, facilitate effective project approvals and management, and optimize project success. The exciting part is that Project Managers and Business Owners will easily see the comparison between their planned resources and the actual project performance through Unanet’s data. This will greatly help in making informed future decisions and improving budgeting.

As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, it is exciting to start a new contract, learn new systems, and sometimes find new ways to complete and solve tasks. It is rewarding to be successful at meeting and exceeding the client’s needs and expectations. We recently signed a new contract with Campbell County Health in Wyoming, and it is great to be able to work with them!

What’s something that you wish people knew about your job? What is the most rewarding part?
Is there a cool project you’re working on that your colleagues may not be familiar with?

A big part of the job I do as a Talent Operations Generalist is helping Associates with any personal or professional concerns they may have. Associates can come to Talent Operations with any issues or questions. If we do not have the answer or we are not the right individuals to assist, we will point them in the right direction or provide them guidance. You never know what each day will bring, and that’s what keeps it interesting. The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that I make a difference in the lives of our Associates every day. It is very fulfilling!

As a Project Manager at Signature Performance, here’s what I wish people knew about my job: My job is to make other people successful! I would say that the most rewarding thing about my job is helping project team members really find a shared purpose to solve difficult problems together, to the point where the team as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I get to work on the coolest project ever -- the introduction of a text-based AI chatbot into CHAMPVA Operations that returns focused answers to specific questions based on a thousand pages of internal Desk Procedures, Quick Reference Guides, and the entire CHAMPVA Operational Policy Manual.

I am passionate about my job, as it’s a heartfelt service that requires attention to detail and uncompromising quality service. My department provides ongoing training and development which is a catalyst that aids one in becoming successful in meeting production goals and quality standards.

The most rewarding part is the vast opportunities that are provided for career growth and development. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed at Signature Performance. Within less than a year of employment, I’ve received recognition and incentives for meeting departmental goals. In my many years in the workforce, I’ve never had the rewarding opportunities that are offered at Signature. It holds great value to Associates to work for an organization that’s concerned about their health and well-being, and Signature does a great job of providing resources that promote Associate health and wellness.

Amplifying Our Associate Voices

How Associate Engagement Surveys Drive Organizational Satisfaction

At Signature, running an annual engagement survey and sharing the results with managers and Associates is more than just “checking a box”—it's a testament to our dedication to transparency, trust, and the well-being of everyone on our team.

Once a year, we administer the S14 Associate Engagement Survey. We ask our Associates 14 core questions related to their roles, teams, growth opportunities, and abilities to add value at the company. By prioritizing this practice, we aim to create a space where every voice is heard, and every opinion matters. Sharing the survey results openly reinforces our commitment to being transparent about where we excel and where we can grow. This openness builds trust, ensuring our Associates that their feedback is not only valued but essential to our journey together.

When we take the time to listen and act on the feedback from these surveys, it’s our way of showing that we’re committed to making our workplace the best it can be. Research shows engaged teams are not only happier but also more productive, with studies showing that organizations with engaged employees see significant boosts in profitability and reductions in absenteeism. A study by Gallup found that highly engaged teams show 21% greater profitability and a 41% reduction in absenteeism. By working together to respond to the insights our Associates anonymously share, we’re not just improving processes; we’re building a stronger, more connected team where everyone can thrive.

Year after year, the feedback that comes from the Annual S14 Engagement Survey shows high regards of our Associates’ employment experience. A couple facets of the survey we are notably proud to recognize include our teams’ connection to our mission and the confidence their teams contribute with high quality work.

“I believe my work positively impacts Signature’s

mission of improving the health of our clients’ business and making the lives of the people we work with better,” is a top-scoring statement in the survey from all departments across the company. Hear it from one of our Appointment Scheduling Representatives:

“Helping Veterans get the healthcare they so deserve is so very important to me. I hear feedback on how appreciative they are for the work we do in setting their appointments. Signature is an amazing company, and I'm so appreciative that I get to play an important part in the mission of helping our Veterans.”

It's critical that our team members believe their work positively impacts our mission because it connects their daily tasks to a greater purpose. When employees see how their contributions align with our mission, it fosters a deeper sense of fulfillment and motivation. This belief not only drives individual satisfaction but also enhances overall engagement, as Associates who understand the significance of their role are more committed, innovative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

Additionally, when our Associates strongly agree that their team members strive to do quality work, it creates a culture of excellence and mutual respect, even in a nationwide remote workforce. This shared commitment to quality is especially commendable because it means our teams are overcoming the challenges of remote work to consistently deliver outstanding results. When teams hold each other to high standards, it not only elevates the team's performance but also fosters a sense of unity and pride, inspiring everyone to contribute their best.

We routinely look forward to hearing from our Associates in this one of many listening avenues; even more, we look forward to intentionally making meaningful enhancements to the working experience for everyone at Signature.

Engagement Drives Performance

According to Gallup, business units in the top quartile of employee engagement outperform those in the bottom quartile by 23% in profitability and 18% in productivity. This highlights a direct link between high engagement and business outcomes.

Engagement and Retention

Gallup reports that highly engaged employees are 59% less likely to look for a new job in the next 12 months. This emphasizes how engagement can significantly reduce turnover and improve retention, which is especially critical in a competitive job market.

Engagement and Innovation

Highly engaged teams are 21% more likely to report that they’re able to come up with new ideas and create innovative solutions. This demonstrates how engagement fosters a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within organizations.

The Secret Sauce of Signature Performance: How Positive Psychology and Gratitude Can Transform Work Culture

At Signature Performance, gratitude isn’t considered a “nice to have” –it’s a way of life and doing business. Did you know that Signature Performance uses positive psychology and the psychology of gratitude to build a thriving culture that benefits Associates and their families? Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation and thankfulness for what we have and what others do for us. Research shows that gratitude can boost our happiness, health, and performance at work. While many aspects contribute to the health of our culture, Signature has been proven best in class by applying five core concepts that make our company stand out.

The first core concept that sets Signature apart from other

organizations is seeing the best in others. This means that we appreciate and recognize the value of our colleagues, managers, and clients, and we express our gratitude for their contributions. At Signature, we have various ways of showing our appreciation, such as sending a “Pat on the Back”, nominating each other for a coveted OSPAR award, or celebrating everyday successes. By seeing the best in others, we not only make them feel good, but we also strengthen our relationships, trust, and collaboration. This gives us a powerful edge in delivering high-quality service and achieving our mission to improve the health of our clients’ business and make the lives of the people we work with better.

The second core concept of gratitude happens when we value each other’s Strengths. Signature is grateful that each Associate has a unique set of talents and skills that can be developed into natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. We help each other identify and leverage our Strengths through the Clifton StrengthsFinder, a researchbased assessment that reveals an individual’s top five talent themes. By knowing and applying our Strengths, we can increase our engagement and productivity at work.

According to Gallup, people who use their Strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged and three times more

likely to report having an excellent quality of life. Additionally, teams that focus on Strengths report 12.5% greater productivity, 8.9% greater profitability, and 15% less turnover. With Strengths, we not only perform better but also enjoy our work and contribute to the success of the company.

The third concept, one of the most felt but not often visualized, is our intentional focus on assuming positive intent and getting curious instead of angry. When we assume positive intent and practice gratitude, we have the power to enhance our relationships and overall well-being. By assuming positive intent, we cultivate trust and respect and seek to understand others’ perspectives and motivations rather than jumping to conclusions. This fosters an environment of openness where honest and constructive communication is encouraged. Embracing positive intent and gratitude can reduce conflict, enhance learning, and spark innovation. At Signature, our interactions are built on these principles, opening the doors for Associates to listen with empathy and respond with curiosity.

Every Associate has access to our fourth core concept, performancebased coaching, which helps us stand out from the rest. Signature provides its Associates with ongoing support and guidance from certified and experienced coaches who help them set and achieve their personal and professional goals. Through regular coaching sessions, Associates can identify their Strengths, overcome challenges, and develop new skills and competencies.

Positive psychology expert Robert Emmons says, “Gratitude is a

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.”
- Cicero

recognition that we have done nothing to deserve all the good things that others have done for us.“ Gratitude is a way of life, a mindset of thankfulness toward others and life itself. Coaching helps us cultivate this mindset by inviting us to reflect on our achievements, challenges, and learnings, and to acknowledge the support and guidance we receive from our colleagues, managers, and clients. Coaching also helps us set meaningful and challenging goals that align with our Strengths and purpose. By engaging in coaching, we can foster a culture of gratitude that enhances our wellbeing, performance, and impact.

Finally, it wouldn’t make sense not to mention our use of the Signature Way, our fifth method of achieving an award-winning culture. The Signature Way is a set of principles and behaviors that guide how Signature Associates work and interact with each other, their clients, and our community. By following the Signature Way, Associates align themselves with the company’s vision, mission, and values and can empower themselves to make decisions and take actions that reflect the company’s identity and purpose. The Signature Way principles include being “go to” people, acting with an ownership mentality, getting things done,

making things better, ensuring high-impact work, being difference makers, doing important, relevant, and measurable work, asking more of ourselves, and making those around us better. By adhering to the Signature Way, Associates increase their loyalty, commitment, and workplace pride, and they contribute to building a thriving work culture filled with gratitude.

By embracing these five positive psychology and gratitude practices, we can create and sustain a work culture where each of us feels valued, respected, and empowered to grow, join, and belong.

“Gratitude is the starting point of any shift you want to make,” Melanie Mills, Signature’s External Consultant and Ally, said. “Look around you right now. What are you grateful for? Keep adding to that list, gratitude is a simple but mighty practice for changing anything for the better.”

Our Signature team is comprised of hardworking, committed leaders. We are an organization that thrives on authentic appreciation and gratitude as a daily practice. Our focus enables us to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry and in the lives of those we serve, including our Associates, their families, and the communities in which they live.

The Internship Insider

At Signature Performance, you’re more than an Intern. You’re an asset to the achievement of our mission. Signature’s Internship Experience was born from the belief that we can achieve more when we pour into the growth and development of the next generation of business professionals.

In the summer of 2024, our Talent Operations team set out to find an individual who had a knack for data and a strong passion for people. The team’s aspirations were realized when Signature hired Ella Behner, a Business Intelligence Analytics and FinTech student at Creighton University.

“The opportunity to lead Ella through this experience has been wonderful. She is a fast learner and is always willing to ask questions when she has felt stuck,” Nick Bohunis, HRIS Data and Reporting Specialist, said. “Aside from her work, her bright personality and confidence have been a great addition to the Talent Operations team.”

As an HRIS Data & Reporting Intern, she assisted Nick in supplying Associate and workforce data to business partners, leadership, and team members to support decision-making, strategic planning, and solutioning people-focused implementations.

“Ella was responsible for two key projects in her time with us. The first interviewed team members about how they utilize ADP, our human capital management software, in their day-to-day tasks. Ella’s ownership of this project played into our department’s goal to fully utilize ADP,” Nick said. “And the second revamped turnover data for our Talent Operations Business Partners. This

detailed approach transformed how we advise and coach managers on Associate retention strategies.”

From process improvement to compliant reporting practices, Ella received hands-on experience in data management, trend analysis, and HRIS innovation. In addition, she had a front-row seat to our growth and development programs. Under the mentorship of Andrew Ciochetto, Instructional Designer, Ella fully experienced our dedication to improving the health of our clients’ business and making the lives of the people we work with better.

“While our past internships have always encompassed learning and development, we have heightened our focus on providing both job experience and professional growth to our Interns as the workforce evolves,” Andrew said. “Supplemented with one-to-one mentorship, we now shape our internships around the individual’s specific learning objectives, making it a fun and dynamic experience for all parties.”

We understand the value of creating an experience that serves our mission and an individual’s personal and professional development aspirations. Signature is exceptionally grateful for the cross-department collaboration that enables us to develop the next generation of young professionals, especially those right here in the heart of Omaha.

If your department is interested in hosting a Signature Internship Experience, please contact Dangie Jansen, Director of Developmental Experience, for more information.

Tips from the Team with

Trust your gut.

Whether it’s at work or in the world, it is too easy to overthink and second-guess your decisions. Rely on what you know and ask the right questions to find the right answers.

-Nick Bohunis, HRIS Data & Reporting Specialist

Dream big; have fun.

Your thoughts and ideas can generate monumental change. When you want to make a memorable impact, surround yourself with supportive people who ask, “What could this be, and how do we get there?”

What’s been a memorable experience during your Signature journey?

One of my most memorable experiences was volunteering at the Food Bank for the Heartland early in my internship. I met many new people while serving, making me more comfortable talking to our Associates and leaders. In addition, volunteering allowed me to see Signature’s company values in action.

What opportunity are you proud to have worked on?

I am proud of the first presentation I gave to Melissa, Rebecca, and Nick as I felt the feedback I received validated my skills and abilities. The data analysis project on turnover was key to improving Melissa’s team, and I felt confident executing the project.

What have you learned about your career aspirations through this internship?

As this was my first internship, I was excited to pursue this opportunity and learn the dynamics of a corporate setting. Of course, I know that Signature Performance is truly an exception and not the rule when it comes to workplace culture. This experience has validated my career aspirations, and I have enjoyed exploring analytics as a career.

What have you discovered about yourself during this time?

Initially, I was worried about time management in a corporate role. However, I discovered that when I love where I am and what I am doing it’s easy to be on time and commit to my responsibilities. I also felt encouraged to be vocal and communicative with my team members, increasing my independence in building relationships and giving presentations.

How has Signature’s uncommon culture influenced your experience?

I feel Signature’s culture was the ultimate factor in the success of this experience. From my initial orientation experiences, I witnessed how everything we touched was Associate-oriented. Not only could I see it in the benefits offered, but I could feel it in my interactions with team members. The level at which we care for team members resonated with me, and from the beginning, I felt valued as a new person at Signature.
