ANNIVIeRS LIBeRTé PaSS
TeRMS From 30 May to 3 November 2019, Anniviers Liberté Pass * Holders have free access to various transport (people only) and leisure facilities, and some visitor attractions.
The pass is obtained: If you spend one night or more in commercially-rented accommodation within the Anniviers municipality (Hotel, Inn, Boarding House, Gite or Hut). If you spend one night or more in a holiday home, from the owner or the letting agency concerned. Owners of holiday homes receive one Anniviers Liberté Freedom Pass for each UPM. They can buy additional passes, valid for the entire summer season, at a cost of CHF 200 per pass. N.B.: Journeys to and from Sierre and Vercorin are not included in the benefits of the “Anniviers Liberté” pass. The full journey from the departure point to the destination should be paid for. Anniviers Liberté Freedom Passes shall be used exclusively by people meeting the above mentioned eligibility criteria.
* Not valid for those exempt from paying the tourist tax.

ST-LUC Perched on a sun-drenched mountain side, St-Luc village provides a breathtaking view of the 4000 m peaks towering above the Anniviers Valley, including the famous Matterhorn. As the home of the François-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory, the Planetarium and the Planet Trail, it is aptly named “the star resort”. Those who enjoy wildlife and outdoor activities will find plenty to do as St-Luc has a variety of hiking trails that reach altitudes of more than 3000 m above sea level, as well as several mountain bike trails and downhill routes.
CHaNDOLIN As one of Europe’s highest villages occupied year-round, Chandolin is the ideal destination for those seeking peace and well-being both for body and soul. Located 2000 m above sea level it gets plenty of sunshine and catches the last sun rays before the sun sets. Long the favourite destination of some illustrious visitors, and an inspiration to poets, the village retains the charm and authenticity of a genuine Annniviers village with its irregular huddle of houses built in the ancient peasant tradition.

GRIMeNTZ With its traditional wooden houses decked with red geraniums, its pebbled streets and crooked alleyways, Grimentz is an architectural gem from Annivier’s past.
