Logo History SeaWorld has used five different logos during different periods. The logo has shifted form literacy shape like fish, dolphin and ocean wave to abstract shape. The typeface that has been chosen includes hand-script, sans serif and serif. It is very important to understand the brand of visual developing history before starting the redesign process.

Our New Logo The inspiration of the new logo from three elements, including a shield, the shape of “S” and ocean wave. The shield connect with one of the key word– protection, the letter “S” represents the SeaWorld, and the ocean wave element connects to the marine. This logo connect with our brand new mission statement of providing opportunities to help people to protect marine animals and oceans.

Logo Anatomy The new brand logo is built with the “X” value as a unit of measurement. The “X” equals the stroke width of the logo, which will look balanced. The symbol can use alone or with the wordmark, the alignment and proportions of this signature should not be changed in any way.

Logo Clear Space For ultimate visibility and impact, it is important to retain a designed clear space around the signature. To create maximum impact, keep the space around the mark-free from other text and graphics. The clear space on each side of the mark should always be equal to the xheight of the logo.

Alternate Version Alternate logos are variations of our main logo. These should look and feel similar to the main logo, but can be different in terms of layout and color. Typography Standards The typography system for the re-branding of SeaWorld is consists of using serifa as a headline and univers as our body copy and subhead.

SERIFA Serifa was designed by Adrian Frutiger for the Bauer foundry in 1967. The letterforms are based on those of Frutigerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s earlier sans serif design, Univers. Square, unbracketed serifs have been added, making this a slab serif (or Egyptian) typeface. Usually, slab serif types are blocky and difficult to read in text, but Serifa has humanistic forms that are highly readable for both text and display applications such as headlines, captions or corporate logos.

AVENIR Avenir is a sans-serif typeface designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1987 and released in 1988 by Linotype GmbH. Avenir is an elegant and modern typeface with a variety of applications in the business world. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s uses are not only for display purposes but also for large body of texts. The different variations of Avenir make it possible to use for a variety type of mediums. For example; digital, billboards, books, blogs, and graphics.

The magazine publishes every month, the content including the story of between human and marine animals, ocean present condition, some knowledge of oceans and marine animals. MISSION-FOCUS: The SeaWorld Magazine reinforces the mission of providing opportunities to help people to protect marine animals and oceans by giving some professional knowledge of marine animals and oceans and sharing some life or rescue stories between marine animals and humans.
