In December 2016, Sibarth Real Estate opened its new office, a contemporary space dedicated to real estate, whose success was quickly confirmed, both by the flattering comments of its clients and by the number of transactions generated. The integration of new talent to develop a team that was already well established, has boosted the reputation of the agency and consequently reinforced our brand image as “The Reference for St Barth”.

Less than a year later, on September 6, 2017 hurricane Irma hit St Barth hard, inflicting considerable damage to the island’s infrastructure and nature, threatening its economy and deeply affecting its population. However, the courage and the work in the weeks and months that followed, of the local community and territorial administration, resulted in the rapid recovery of St Barth, further proof of its extraordinary resilience.

Strengthened with this conviction, the property market participants, as usual, remained serene during this period. Sibarth Real Estate, widely recognized for its competence and integrity during its forty-three years of activity, resumed its central role of contact and advice, as soon as the agency reopened on September 21, 2017. Most of the transactions that were already under contract have been closed and new ones have been negotiated, including some exceptional sales.

Moins d’un an plus tard, le 6 septembre 2017, le cyclone Irma frappait St Barth de plein fouet, infligeant des dégâts considérables aux infrastructures comme à la nature de l’île, menaçant son économie, et touchant profondément sa population. Mais le courage et le travail de la communauté locale et de l’administration territoriale, dans les semaines et les mois qui ont suivi, ont permis le redressement rapide de St Barth, nouvelle preuve de son extraordinaire résilience.

Each time you walk the path leading you to the different bedrooms you have the wonderful sensation of walking through Eden’s garden.
