INTRODUCTION PORTABLE BAR HIRE We have a wealth of experience running bars for events of any scale. We offer bespoke packages ranging from a simple drinks selection to a fully stocked bar with staff to serve your guests.

Our bar service offer is flexible and can be designed around your needs. Our uniquely designed portable bar system can be set up anywhere in the building and branded to fit in with your event. This allows you focus on all the other elements of your event while we supply you with experienced staff and a great drinks selection.

DRY HIRE HOW DOES IT WORK? We set up the bar where you need it, giving you the freedom to stock and serve drinks yourself.

THE BAR

We have two five-bay bar structures which can be fitted together for larger events or used separately in two different spaces.

• Simple, smart and elegant design • Available for use in any of our spaces

• Set up by us and ready for you to use • Self-contained units including: built-in ice well, speed rail, shelving, sink and under-counter rubbish bin • Hire includes commercial back bar fridges and recyclable plastic pint or half pint cups • Glassware available upon request*

• Branding options available upon request* • Dry hire does not include tills or card machines

We can also provide the bar staff to serve drinks for your event on request*.

WHAT DOES IT COST? 1 x five-bay Portabar: £500 +VAT 2 x five-bay Portabar: £750 +VAT Plus £150 returnable damages deposit.

Shoreditch Town Hall will take a 10% commission on the total gross sales amount in addition to the bar hire fee.

Hirers do not have to pay commission if they supply their own drinks to guests free of charge. *Additional costs apply

Our wooden bar made from reclaimed, upcycled original Town Hall wooden panelling is ideal for a simple and quirky drinks station that fits with the rustic basement aesthetic.

CASH & CARD BAR HOW DOES IT WORK?

Guests pay for their own drinks and you pay nothing as long as the agreed minimum spend is reached by the end of your event. You can also create a hospitality tab at any time during the event for you and your group.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

The bar is free of charge subject to achieving a minimum spend.

These minimum spend examples are based on four hours’ service and include VAT: Up to 75 guests: £1,100 75-200 guests: £1,900 200-400 guests: £3,000 400-500 guests: £4,250 Bespoke minimum spend terms will be agreed upon confirmation of your event timings. After which we will require a deposit of 30% of the total minimum spend, to be paid in advance.

This payment will be returned to you after the event, providing that the minimum spend has been met. *Additional costs apply

VOUCHER BAR 12

VOUCHER BAR HOW DOES IT WORK? Your guests are issued with vouchers entitling them to a complimentary drink. You can choose how many vouchers to give each guest and have the flexibility to give out more drinks vouchers at any time.

This is a great way to stay in control of your budget. We offer a reduction on the listed retail price for all of your drinks purchased by voucher.

Once all vouchers have been used, we can continue with a Cash & Card Bar. You can provide a branded voucher, if you wish.

The bar must trade for at least four hours. Shoreditch Town Hall must be the only drinks supplier.

There is a minimum of 75 guests.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

One voucher can be redeemed for one drink.

The Voucher Bar option can only be used in conjunction with a Cash & Card Bar. Your voucher drinks total will contribute towards achieving the minimum

Shoreditch Town Hall will take an advanced deposit of £5+VAT per voucher. All voucher drinks consumed will be tallied up during the event and the total cost will be invoiced for afterwards, minus the deposit. *Additional costs apply

PRE-PAID BAR 14

PRE-PAID BAR HOW DOES IT WORK?

You cover the costs so your guests can receive complimentary drinks throughout the event.

We can offer bespoke solutions to meet any budget. Here are some examples of how this has worked for previous events: Option 1 You can pre-pay for a bespoke amount of drinks appropriate for the number of guests attending your event. Let us know whether your guests are likely to prefer beer, wine or soft drinks and we can tailor the offer to your requirements.

Option 2 You can offer wine, beer and soft drinks the cost of which is then tallied up and invoiced afterwards. You can also add a selection of spirts and mixers if you really want to spoil your guests.

These options can be tailored to suit your needs.

WHAT DOES IT COST? You pay for the cost of the drinks. Bar infrastructure, staff and glassware can be included for an additional charge.

TERMS & CONDITIONS Shoreditch Town Hall operates a challenge 21 policy on all alcoholic beverages.

We are licenced to serve alcohol between the following hours: Sunday - Thursday, 10am-11pm Friday & Saturday, 10am-midnight Licence conditions must be adhered to at all times. Further information on licence conditions is available on request. We reserve the right to revoke permission to sell or supply alcohol should our terms and conditions be breached.
