Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) help people of all ages, from babies to adults.

SLPs treat many types of communication problems. Trouble communicating can include how we say sounds and put sounds together, how well we understand what we hear or read, and how we use words to tell others what we are thinking. SLPs also work with people who have trouble with eating and drinking (swallowing), which can affect their ability to stay healthy.
