Biodiesel Synthesis and Distributor Design Using 3D-Printed Millireactors
Lakshmi V (B.Tech Chemical Engineering, Batch of 2021–2025), Advisor: Dr. V. M. Rajesh
Lakshmi designed and optimized 3D-printed single-channel millireactors for biodiesel synthesis. She also developed and implemented a novel multiphase distributor for uniform flow in parallel reactors. Her work has been communicated to the Chemical Engineering Journal and Renewable Energy, contributing to sustainable biofuel production through reactor miniaturization and process intensification.

Design and Characterization of Multiphase Distributors for Gas–Liquid Flow in Parallel Microchannels
Garvisha (B.Tech Chemical Engineering, Batch of 2021–2025), Advisor: Dr. V. M. Rajesh
Garvisha focused on developing multiphase flow distributors to achieve uniform gas-liquid splitting in parallel microchannels. She investigated various geometries and junction designs to enhance multiphase flow symmetry. Her findings, validated through simulations and experiments, have been communicated to Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, supporting advances in microreactor scale-up.
