Whilst the prediction was for an heatwave for August, with hindsight it would appear that a Monsoon was actually the correct weather prediction. Therefore, unfortunately we have not been enjoying the predicted heatwave, it would appear that the stereo typical British Summer has struck us once again. Whilst, this was not really predicted, the weather in September is predicted at being between 18 to 20 degrees up to the 15th of September with patchy rainfall and then between the 16th to the start of October the temperature will be between 16 to 19 degrees with the chance of rain on most days as the month progresses. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings there folks. Looks like the Indian Summer will not be on it’s way on 2019.

Who Am I ?

I was born in Pittsburgh on the 6th of August 1928, and I died on the 22nd of February 1987 (aged 58). I was an American artist, director and producer and I was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. My works explore the relationship between artistic expression, advertising and celebrity culture that flourished in the 1960s, and span a variety of media, including painting, silk screening, photography, film, and sculpture. Some of my best known works include my silkscreen paintings Campbell’s Soup Cans (1962) and Marilyn Diptych (1962), the experimental film Chelsea Girls (1966), and the multimedia events known as the Exploding Plastic Inevitable (1966–67). After exhibiting my work in several galleries in the late 1950s, I began to receive recognition as an influential and controversial artist. My New York studio, The Factory, became a well-known gathering place that brought together distinguished intellectuals, drag queens, Playwrights, Bohemian street people, Hollywood celebrities, and wealthy patrons together. David Bowie, penned a song about me and the title is my name, in 1971, this track featured on his "Hunky Dory" album.
