Experience SILICON SLOPES

Move over, Silicon Valley - the Silicon Slopes is home to the next big tech boom. Many large companies like Adobe Systems, IM Flash Technologies, EA Sports, Ancestry.com, Podium, 1-800 Contacts, Domo, and countless others are building empires right here in Utah, which is home to over 6,500 startup and tech companies.

Big companies aren’t the only attraction, though. Multiple homes, restaurants, and stores are popping up all over the place. The Point, a brand new, once-in-a-generation development is in the works right at the edge of Traverse Mountain. It features over 600-acres of land that will soon be transformed into a mixed-use, forward-thinking community centered on innovation. This new development will feature commercial and residential buildings, connected trails, and spaces for the community to gather. No matter the season, there’s something for all age groups. Thanksgiving Point features a gorgeous annual Tulip Festival in the spring and an incredible Dinosaur Museum. Take a quick drive up Provo Canyon to find multiple turn-offs for parks with picnic tables, open grassy areas for games, or peaceful knolls to relax on a blanket with your favorite book.

Though this canyon is incredibly scenic throughout the year, a must-visit time is in the fall. Stop at Sundance for a picnic lunch and enjoy the vibrant red, yellow, and orange leaves, then head along Alpine loop for a stunningly scenic drive and some of the best fall foliage in all of Utah.
