BLOODS LAKE TRAIL IN BONANZA FLAT CONSERVATION AREA If you’re looking for a moderately challenging hike that won’t take up your whole day, this is the one for you. Only 2.7 miles, this is the perfect hike to view wildflowers, the forest, and wildlife.
ARMSTRONG TRAIL TO DAWN’S TRAIL LOOP This 3.3-mile moderate hike is a nice loop through the beautiful Utah trees. The best times to visit is April through September, but this trail is open year-round. Dogs are welcome but required to be on a leash.
BALD MOUNTAIN VIA SILVER LAKE This trail has gorgeous views of Silver Lake and is moderately challenging. At 4 miles long, this hike takes about two-and-a-half hours to complete, on average. This is a great trail if you want to be able to look out at the vast landscape and beautiful mountain tops.
CLAYTON PEAK VIA BLOODS LAKE TRAIL If you’re an experienced hiker and are looking for a bit of a challenge, this hike is 5.3 miles and takes about three hours to complete. The best months for this trail are June through October.
ARMSTRONG AND SPIRO LOOP TRAIL This 6.1-mile loop trail takes around three hours to complete. If you’re looking for a moderately challenging hike and love bird watching, check this one out. Feel free to bring your dog, just remember to keep them on a leash.
GAMBLE OAK LOOP Looking for an easy afternoon hike? This one is perfect for you! The 3.9 miles takes about two hours and is great for hiking in the summer or snowshoeing in the winter. Keep an eye out for wildlife no matter what season you visit.
