Dr. Rosenblatt recently showed up at the

Sheridan House single Mom Back-to-School Event.

But this time she came to give rather than get.

She brought a single mom in need of help and she handed me a copy of her Doctoral Dissertation.

It was amazing to see a woman who received help years ago return and is helping others today.

At Sheridan House we get to watch people come to the realization that God has an amazing, personal, tailor made plan for their lives.

The reason “It Works” at Sheridan House is because God uses so many amazing people to help other people in need. The help comes in the form of temporary assistance. But the real help is eternal. At Sheridan House we get to watch people come to the realization that God has an amazing, personal, tailor made plan for their lives.

Our ministry is to point to Him. Thank you for helping us help tomorrow’s leaders find the way. It Works!

Kat was a child that was stolen and put in the dark sex trade world when she was in middle school.

Her journey from victim to warrior is about to come out in her new book called Stolen: The True Story of a Sex Trafficking Survivor. It’s a tragic story that has an amazing ending.

Fast forward to today. Kat is no longer a victim.

She’s rescuing victims. In fact, today Kat is Dr. Katariina Rosenblatt, PhD. and her daughter is starting college this month.

In the doctoral dissertation (pictured in her hands on the cover), Dr. Rosenblatt wrote: “I want to say Thank You to Sheridan House. If it wasn’t for all of your continued love and support to me as a single mom I wouldn’t be where I am today.

It works! All that you do to help us help others is working. Thank you.

At one pivotal point in her life, as a mother, Kat needed help and God put the right people in front of her. She received help first from a Calvary Chapel pastor and his wife, Mark and Karen Davis. At that point in her journey Kat was a single parent of a daughter.

Kat is no

longer a victim.

She’s rescuing victims.

Her next step was to come to Sheridan House and a friend, Xiomara brought her to one of Rosemary Barnes’ Bible Studies. That was when she also discovered the Single Parent Ministry at Sheridan House.

Back-to-School Event a Big Success.
