Generation “Z,” born between 1995 and 2012, is unlike any generation in our Nation’s history. Research reveals that the combination of evolving societal norms, unprecedented wealth, and pervasive technological connectivity has led to a generation more susceptible to experience social isolation, risk aversion, and heightened self-doubt. As Generation “Z” matures into adulthood and positions of increased responsibility, including corporate, public, and military leadership, we must ensure that our training and education programs are correspondingly evolved to equip them with the tools they will require.
