ABOUT THE FOUNDER Diana Bufalini’s lifelong pursuit of adventure is at the heart of Fourteen August. As a travel writer, she carefully tended memories of each place by collecting stones and beads as she traveled, a sparkling chronicle of her journeys.
Her collection grew and grew, and Diana was moved to share these touchstones of her travels with others, hoping to spark the same sense of curiosity and adventure.
Seeking a sense of grounding to balance a career of travel, Diana spent some years closer to home. Jewelry receded into the background as other pursuits took center stage and she built a home and family. Eventually, that deep familial connection brought her back to jewelry, but in a new direction.
