Should you book for a performance and you can’t attend due to ill health, just let us know before the show and we’ll credit your account or offer an exchange for another performance of the same production. If a show is cancelled, you will be offered a refund, credit or transfer to another performance.

Director Bryony Shanahan Eighty years ago, on the 12th December 1940, Sheffield was subjected to a bombing raid which aimed to wipe its world renowned steel works off the map. A single bomb reduced the Marples Hotel, which stood in Fitzalan Square, from seven stories to just 15 feet of rubble. Trapped within it were four steelworkers. This is their story.

A Sheffield Theatres and Clean Break Production Director Róisín McBrinn In a specialised unit inside a prison, a group of women discover the music of punk rock band The Slits and form their own group. An outlet for their frustration, they find remedy in revolution. But in a system that suffocates, can rebellion ever be allowed?

SHE LOVES ME A Sheffield Theatres Production Book by Joe Masteroff Music by Jerry Bock Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick Based on a play by Miklós László Amalia and Georg work together in a parfumerie in a picturesque Hungarian town. Constantly clashing, the two colleagues are at odds on the shop floor. But they do have one thing in common. They’ve both answered a lonely hearts advert and now live for the letters they exchange, unaware of the identity of their true loves.

As they count down the shopping days to Christmas, love and snowflakes are in the air.

A glorious romantic comedy musical by the writers of Fiddler on the Roof, based on the story that inspired You’ve Got Mail, She Loves Me will warm even the chilliest of winter evenings.

Ticket Prices There are a range of prices to choose from, starting from only £15 on all Sheffield Theatres productions and the majority of visiting productions. The earlier you book, the greater choice you’ll have of seating and pricing.

We offer a range of performances, designed to make your visit to our spaces easy and enjoyable.

On non-performance days the Box Office closes at 6pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays, the Box Office opens one hour before the show.

These include; audio described performances, a live commentary of the action on stage through a headset; captioned performances, where dialogue and sound effects are displayed as text on screens next to the stage; and British Sign Language interpreted performances.

Schools For the majority of our shows tickets are £12 for full-time education groups of 10 or more, with one free supervisory ticket for every 10 tickets bought. Speak to the Box Office for further details.

Discounts and Concessions Where applicable, concessions are available for Senior Citizens (60+), registered unemployed, disabled, full time students and children under 16.

Concession rates vary. Concessions and all discounts are subject to availability.

A minimum of 40 tickets are made available per week-long production.

No Transaction Fees Here at Sheffield Theatres there are no transaction fees when you book your tickets. However you pay, you will only pay the price of your tickets.

For customers with access needs, onstreet parking for blue badge holders is available on Norfolk Street and Surrey Street (both less than 50m from the Theatres).

We also offer relaxed and dementia friendly performances designed for people who prefer a more gentle atmosphere: there is reduced levels of light, sound and special effects and a more relaxed attitude to noise and movement around the auditorium.

Dates for access performances can be found on our website.

Level entrances to the main foyers and lift access to each floor are available at both the Crucible and Lyceum.

A lower Box Office counter and auditorium spaces are available to wheelchair users. A number of seats with level access are also available.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the auditorium. Alternatively, we can take care of them during the performance. We ask that you prebook your dog for this service.

A loop system is available at the Box Office counter and we operate an infrared system in the auditorium.

Accessible toilets are located in both buildings, the Crucible also has a Changing Places toilet.
