here’s nothing like the power of a team working together!
As of January 1, 2022, the Oswego Downtown Association merged to operate under the umbrella of the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce and now it is part of a separate dynamic Chamber committee. “This is great news for all concerned,” said Angie Hibben, President and CEO, Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our downtown businesses will benefit with membership cost-savings as our Chamber members and they’ll have the resources and Chamber staff to successfully move forward. In fact, this will help all of our community-oriented events become even stronger.” A big part of the focus in promoting the Oswego area and its businesses is the many popular events that take place in Oswego throughout the year. It takes a team of four powerful partners — the Village of Oswego, the Oswegoland Park District, the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Oswego Downtown Association — to plan, promote, and run over 12 popular events for area residents and visitors to enjoy. “It’s going to be an exciting year for all us,” adds Hibben, “as we create and expand many of our popular events with all of our local businesses and community volunteers.” Keep up-to-date with the latest event news and visit www.oswegochamber.org.
