The Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the most successful and prominent Chambers to be a member of. President and CEO Angie Hibben and her staff make every effort and take every opportunity given to them to make memberships beneficial to each member. The OACC works closely with the Village of Oswego and together they focus on community projects, the needs of residents and families and local business owners.

I have been a member of the OACC since 2011 and I have found the networking and events to be an important tool in getting involved in activities with other area business owners. The OACC hosts a variety of monthly and annual activities for businesses to attend. From morning coffees, to business after business, ribbon cuttings, annual dinners, new member dinners, golf outings, 5K runs and Spirits on the Farm, just to name a few. With over 500 active members in the Chamber each business is given sponsorship opportunities throughout the year to highlight their companies which is a great way to network within the Chamber along with introducing your business to the community. Whether you are a new start-up or a lifelong business the OACC has something for everyone. As my tenure comes to an end, I am honored to have been able to serve on the Board of Directors for the past four years holding the positions of Treasurer, Co-Chairman and Chairman of the Board. Reflecting upon my time being a member and serving on the Board has been a very memorable period of time for me in several ways. I have made wonderful friends, met an overwhelming amount of amazing and talented business owners, been able to be a representative and face of this growing community and with the support of the Chamber been able to grow my business.
