BUSINESS COMMERCE CELEBRATES

In 1976 Connie was named the first female president of the Frankfort Chamber. For many, Connie is the source of history on the Frankfort Chamber and the community. She was also known for her commitment to serving others. She was a member of the board for the Crisis Center for South Suburbs, supporting programs and fundraising.
Connie served those in the photography field as a board member for the Winona School of Professional Photography Alumni. Through the years she has served as a consultant and educator for photographers across the country.
This year she has decided to make an official retirement and spend more time with her six children, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. While she will no doubt stay busy with family and friends, she will be greatly missed in the Frankfort community for that she and her family business have provided through the years.
A portion of the proceeds from the Women in Business Awards Night were donated to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia. The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence.
