Riverdale High School’s track teams took a breakfrompractice Wednesday, April 26, and went to Rapids City to help with sandbagging. As the Mississippi River nearsrecordhigh levels, the village’s sewerlift station on 14th Street was in danger from therising waters The track teams and coaches filled up sandbags and placed themaround the lift station to help protect the village’s infrastructure. The village of Rapids City B oard and the Public Works Depar tment are thankful to the students for helping the communit y andre sidents in their time of need
