or 100 years and counng, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Founded in 1918) has promoted an environment that creates success for local businesses and our community.
The Elmhurst Chamber serves the needs of some 500 member businesses, not-for-profits and individuals through programs, products, services and events that provide opportunies for networking and business referral, business promoon, business educaon, governmental affairs and leadership building.
Members promote their goods and services to residents and businesses through a variety of ways: • A user-friendly “responsive” website (elmhurstchamber.org) featuring a member business directory, Hot Deals coupons, job posngs, business news, community calendar and more; • Posngs to our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social media pages; • Every-Door-Direct-Mailed Elmhurst Community Directory; • Hand-delivered New Resident Greeter Totes; and • News & Notes columns published in the Elmhurst Suburban Life. The Elmhurst Chamber has forged strong business partnerships with the City of Elmhurst—including the Economic Development Commission—and special interest business organizaons such as Elmhurst City Centre, Spring Road Business Associaon and the York & Vallette Business Associaon as well as the DuPage Convenon & Visitors Bureau and the City’s Explore Elmhurst Advisory Committee to promote the visitor and tourism industry.

We also represent the interests of businesses on legislave issues at the local, county, state and federal levels. Each January, our Chamber hosts both a “State of Our City” Mayoral Address Membership Breakfast and State of DuPage County Mul-Chamber Luncheon. A leader in business educaon, we partner with fellow chambers of commerce, business associaons, businesses, not-for-profits and individuals to provide both niche and mass-appeal programs. Annual special events include the Annual Awards (January), mul-chamber Economic Outlook Luncheon (February), Spring Luncheon Salute and Business Expo (April), New Teachers Luncheon (August), Golf Oung (September) and mul-chamber October Luncheon, while our members host the monthly Membership Breakfasts and Business After Hours. As a select United State Chamber of Commerce Federated Membership partner, ECCI is recognized in Illinois and naonally as an organizaon that is committed to excellence in all of its endeavors.
