WELCOME! While 2020 was a year of challenge I look forward to Bolingbrook’s future after witnessing the community come together in support of each other and local businesses during the pandemic. Over the years, I have come to admire the strong sense of community camaraderie that makes Bolingbrook unique. Neighbor helping neighbor is at the core of American society. I see this quality in Bolingbrook reflected by residents who shop small business, support local events and commit time to organizations and groups. In 2020 the residents and businesses certainly “talked the talk and walked the walk.” The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce joins the “community chorus” in asking you to spend your money where your house is! Every time you shop Bolingbrook, 68 cents of every dollar you spend is reinvested somewhere in the community. Shopping small helps businesses hire employees as well as donate valuable time, goods and services to local causes. The most compelling case for shopping local - besides saving retail jobs - is the vital income generated supports law enforcement, fire protection and street maintenance. In 2021, it is particularly essential for residents to think “Bolingbrook first” when shopping for everyday purchases. As you plan to pick up groceries, dine out, buy gifts or consider big-ticket items like cars, furniture or appliances, keep Bolingbrook first in mind. In fact, we designed this directory to make it easier for you to find local businesses.

The next time you are poised to make a purchase ask yourself… “Can I find it in Bolingbrook?” Then reach for the 2021 Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Directory. The rear portion of this guide lists nearly every one of our 600 members by industry and by alphabetical order. Not surprisingly, Bolingbrook residents own many area stores, restaurants and service businesses. Those proprietors are prone to staff their establishments with managers who are also Bolingbrook residents. Now that I have had the pleasure of getting to know so many local business owners, I like to say, “They are there because they care.” I appreciate your support of Bolingbrook’s small business community.
