Teeing it up Dust off those golf clubs for two great fundraiser golf outings this weekend. • Jay Braida Open: The eighth annual Jay Braida Golf Memorial Golf Open will be Saturday, July 8, at Chapel Hill Golf Course. Cost for the four-person scramble is $65 per golfer, which includes dinner. Non-golfers are welcome for a $15 dinner only. There will be silent auctions held throughout the day. Forms are available at Chapel Hill, Heartland Bank and Central Banks. This year’s recipient is Shane Hultine, who sustained life-altering injuries in a severe motorcycle accident Easter evening. Donations will be accepted at any Heartland Bank and Trust location. • Jimmy D Golf: This year’s Jimmy D Golf Day will be Sunday, July 9, at Spring Creek Golf Course in Spring Valley and Senica’s Deer Park Golf Club in Oglesby.
