TECHNICAL RIDER PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN ADAPT THIS RIDER TO SUIT YOUR VENUE. WE ARE HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE IT WORK! THIS RIDER DETAILS A BEST CASE SCENARIO BUT WE ARE HAPPY TO WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE OR CAN EASILY GET FOR YOUR VENUE. TOURING PARTY & VEHICLES Please provide parking at your loading dock/door for one regular wheel base van. Where parking can be provided, please reserve spaces for this van, and two additional cars max. STAGE Please provide a “black box” stage of no less than 6m Width and 4m Depth. Please prepare any masking, flats, blacks or legs in advance of our get-in. We will require masking in both stage right and stage left wings for props and cast entrance/exit. Stage surface should be level, clean, and smooth. The show contains dance/movement on the floor. Please provide a screen, cyc, or white surface upstage as close to full stage width/height as possible for projections. We do not require a cross-over or front tabs. No rigging or flying is required. No hard fixing is required. STAGE MANAGEMENT / PERSONNEL The show contains two cast - male and female. The show contains fire, weapons or fight sequences. The show does contain liquid. Please have one house technician familiar with all house equipment and procedures available for the get-in and fit up, and where possible throughout the day. FOH POSITION Front of House position should be at the rear of the venue, central to the stage and not behind glass, or in a separate room from the auditorium. control, as well as the feed to the projector should all be located close enough to be operated by our sole technician. Comms to stage/stage manager where possible. Please provide a minimum of four 13-amp sockets at FOH. SOUND Please provide a professional quality FOH PA system of an appropriate size for your venue. Coverage should be even throughout the venue including any balcony, infill, or out-fill, areas. Please provide side fills or monitors on-stage to cover the entire performance area. A 32-band graphic EQ should be available on the FOH, and monitor system. We tour one wireless system - a Sennheiser G3 Band GB. An XLR input should be available at FOH, or on-stage for this. We can co-ordinate our frequency around house equipment on the day if required. We also tour one laptop running all sound and visual cues. Two jack inputs should be available at FOH for this. We are not touring a console, PA system, or any “tie in” cabling. VISUALS Visuals are a key component of the show and must be possible within your venue. We would like to use a house projector where possible with either a VGA, or HDMI feed taken from our laptop. Laptop running the visuals must be positioned with the operator at FOH. Where a house projector isn’t available, please contact us in advance. LIGHTING We require one professional theatre console capable of running a cue stack and manual subs. We have the following essential lighting requests:

Five specials, preferably four source 4’s and one fresnel or similar:

One D/S centre spot from above the audience creating a pool of light approximately 3 meters round. One spot U/S right from LX1. One spot U/S Left from LX1. One fresnel creating a pool of light for a single actor, arms outstretched, D/S Right, from immediately overhead.

General Wash to pick up faces across the whole stage from above the audience. Warm wash from overhead. Cool wash from overhead.

We use haze during the performance and throughout the day. Please ensure your auditorium can be suitably isolated. We will use the house machine where possible. House lights should be controllable from the lighting console. Where this is not possible, please rig some floods/lamps from the advance bar for this purpose. A suggested plot can be found at the end of this document - please scale this up or down to suit your venue. ACCESS We require a set of zarges, or other appropriate ladders to access house lighting bars for the duration of the show day. Where house lighting bars are accessed by MEWP or other powered access, a trained operator should be provided throughout the day, at no cost to the touring company. DRESSING ROOMS Ideally, we require 3 dressing rooms:

Where this is not possible, please provide at least two, separate, small spaces for cast dressing needs. These rooms should be secure, warm and lockable. Mirrors, clothes rails, kettles and comfy seating are all welcome items. We sometimes require software updates etc for our touring equipment so please advise on wifi and any relevant passwords. LAUNDRY We do not have a regular laundry requirement. Although unlikely, we may use venue laundry facilities where available. Shaper/Caper - The Unwanted
