Chaz G Determan, son of Greg and Candy Determan, was born on February 10, 1989 in Sacramento, California. His hometown is Granite Bay, CA. He has a brother and sister, Dillon and Chasteena. “Razzmachazz” as he’s known, played baseball for Coach Pat Esposito at Granite Bay High School where he led the team with the most strikeouts in the year. His best sports memory is attending the ASU Training Camp. He chose to attend Sac City College because he loves the competition and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Chaz’s goal for the upcoming season is to go undefeated and be the number one guy this year. He is currently majoring in Business. Chaz’s favorite athlete is Barry Zito because his curveball owns. His favorite artist is Andre Nickatina and he lists his favorite song as “Y-U-Smilin.” His favorite movie is Scary Movie. The biggest influence in his life was seeing his good friend get drafted because “I have what it takes.” In his spare time he enjoys girls.
Matthew Sturges, son of Greg and Michelle Sturges, was born on December 22, 1990 in Sacramento, California. His hometown is Elk Grove, CA. He has an older brother, Eric, and an older sister, Christine. Sturges played baseball for Coach Brian Laforte at Laguna Creek High School where he was a 3-Time All-League selection. He also played football in high school and was an All-League selection his senior year. His best sports memory is throwing a twohit shutout against his brother’s old high school coach that screwed him. He chose to attend Sac City College because his brother played here and it’s a good place to play. Matt’s goal for the upcoming season is to have an impact. He is currently majoring in Social Science. Matt’s favorite athlete is Barry Zito when he was on the A’s. His favorite artists are Lil Wayne, Lloyd, and Taylor Swift. His favorite movie is Pineapple Express. The biggest influence in his life is his brother and dad. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports and eating.

Kyle Christopher DeVore, son of Kris and Shiela DeVore, was born on December 23, 1990 in Sacramento, California. His hometown is Wilton/ Elk Grove, CA. He has two brothers, Manuel and Jordan. “Devo” as he’s known, played baseball for Coach Rob Rinaldi at Pleasant Grove High School where he was a 3-Time Honorable Mention Selection. His best sports memory is walking a batter intentionally in playoffs to bring up Cory Vaughn with the bases loaded and then striking him out. He chose to attend Sac City College because it is the best and he wants to be the best – if you can’t make it here then you can’t play at the next level, so why go somewhere else that is easier? Kyle’s goal for the upcoming season is to be the best pitcher in the league and be better than everyone else we play. He is currently majoring in Sports Psychology. Kyle’s favorite athlete is Matt Cain because he is calm, collected, gets it done and he can be just as good as Cain is. He listens to all music, but his favorite pump up song is “Undead” by Hollywood Undead. His favorite movie is Step Brothers. The biggest influence in his life is his older brother because “he left the house at 18 because of parents and he made it and is doing well for himself.” In his spare time he enjoys playing X-Box.
