ith all the skill and flair of international darts champions, the President of SCC Captain Baldev Singh and GC Members Ms Joyce Foster, Mr Parasuram Krishnan and Mr George Abraham flighted their darts accurately to burst the bright blue balloons to commence the Annual Darts Bullseye Tournament at SCC. This intersection event is an annual event and is very well supported by the various Sports Sections as evidenced by their staunch support and great enthusiasm for Darts. Eleven teams participated with a keen competitive spirit. They were Cricket, Tennis and Balut which bravely participated with two teams. Soccer, Squash, Lawn Bowls, Billiards & Snooker, Netball, Bridge and of course our very athletic minded GC Team of Ms Foster, Mr George Abraham and Mr Parasuram. In the warm ambience of the Oval Restaurant and with all four Dart Boards being played, the teams rubbed shoulders and competed in a very convivial manner. The Darts Section Members were there to assist and support all the participants and encourage them in the tournament. A great time was had by all especially with the generous flow of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The good food was

very generously provided for by the Darts Section and prepared by our ever hardworking F&B Team. Needless to say that imbibing was encouraged to ensure the flight of the dart towards the bull’s eye was smooth and effortless. As with all tournaments there were some upsets and two seeded darts players were knocked out by a participant, Ms. Sally from Tennis and our very own GC Member Ms Foster sent the second seeded player packing. The champions were Soccer Section with Squash Section being the Runners-Up and Balut who strategically fielded two teams placed third. The Members of the Darts Section say “muchisimas gracias” to SCC President and GC Members who graced the event and all the other Sports Sections for participating so enthusiastically and making this annual tournament another huge success. Again, Soccer Section walked out of the Oval victorious. Winners 1st Soccer 2nd Squash 3rd Balut
