Dear Staff and Residents: Over the last three years I have had an opportunity to gain a better understanding of your hopes and needs and most importantly, your accomplishments. It has been a great honor learning from each and every one of you and I look forward every day to working alongside you to achieve our common goals. Many of you have said to me either at community meetings or commission meetings that you would like to discuss individual issues with me in a one on one forum. You have said you want to talk about a variety of things including your residency, your job, your suggestions, and concerns. Beginning Friday June 8, 2012 I will be hosting open door office hours in my office at 1815 Egbert Avenue (between Phelps and Newhall) from 7:30 a.m. to Noon. If you are interested in meeting, I am asking that you call or e-mail Ms. Youngsil Lee of my staff no later than 5:00 p.m. the prior Monday. In this case, we should receive all requests no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 4th. In the event we receive more than 27 requests, we will draw by lottery and advise you of your appointment. We will be offering ten minute timeslots to make it convenient for everyone. Please also let us know what topic you would like to discuss in advance so that we may properly prepare.
