2020 GOLF CLASSIC The 29th Annual O’Gorman Golf Classic was a great success for the Athletic Boosters! Held on September 21 at Willow Run Golf Course, the 125 participants were treated to a beautiful day of 80 degrees with little to no wind! The tradition of the O’Gorman Golf Classic was started by devoted parents of O’Gorman High School students as a way to generate extra income to help offset athletic costs. This year we celebrated Monsignor James Andraschko for his dedication to the tournament and Catholic education in Sioux Falls. The Monsignor Andraschko Cup was awarded to the top flight winners, Scott Backes, Will Kappenmann, Rob Marshall and Mike Meekins. Monsignor has played in the tournament every year since its inception with tournament founder and teammate, Rod Fieldsend. Sharing his wisdom to all players, Msgr. Andraschko stated, “Never underestimate the power of prayer when the ball is in flight.”
