I hope it is not too late to wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and for the Muslim welcoming of Islamic New Year (1 Muharam 1430). As witnessed in 2008, we are capable to overcome various obstacles to sustain growth of our organization, at the same time rectified many weaknesses in order to strengthen our market presence. Year 2008 has been a fruitful year for Metro Parking Group in term of oversea expansions, evidenced by establishment of Metro Parking Services (India) Private Limited in February 2008, to offer our professional services and expertise to the Indian market. This is our continuous effort to further expand our market capitalization especially in Asia market. We have also strengthened our presence in Hong Kong with opening of a few new car parks. As for other oversea branches such as Singapore, Brunei, Philippines and Indonesia, we have also recorded a remarkable achievement in securing more contracts in Year 2008. We have discussed about quality in every issue of news@mpark. The exciting news is that Metro Parking (M) Sdn Bhd, was awarded two prestigious awards in Year 2008: (1) The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2008 in Outstanding Entrepreneurship Category which was organized by Enterprise Asia; (2) The Business of The year Award in the category of Excellent Company Award 2007, which was organized by SMI & SME Network. These proved that our commitment to quality and betterment of services is well recognized. Let's keep it up and look towards a higher level of service quality. Besides that, various social and fun activities had been organized by our branches to boost the morale and spirit of staff in Metro Parking. This issue highlights a few of these activities. We also include some interesting info and articles that hope to entice you. Let's hope the year 2009 will bring us more glories and successes. More importantly, let's make it happen together.
