**Ifusingstripedfabricsforborders(especially),we suggestgettingalittlemorethanyourpatternrequires. Thenuseyourscissorsonthatfirstlinetogetastraight line.Fromtheremeasureyourrequiredamountandcut. Thiswayyouensurethoselinesstaystraight.

Thefirstqueensizequiltsheattempted,she justdoveinfeetfirstwithoutreadingthrough theentirepattern.Bigdeal,right?NOT!“IfIhad readthroughitfirst,Iwouldhaveseentheirhalf squaretriangleinstructionsdidn’tleaveroom fortrimming.Soallthose3-7/8"squares(298of them!)allendeduptoosmall!IfIhadread throughtheentirepatternIwouldhaveseen theydidn’tallotfortrimming.Iwouldhavehad thosesquarescut4inchesinstead!”

Whileitisanuisanceattimes,itisamuchneeded necessityoflife,andwewanttoprepareyouasmuch aspossible
Ifyouarecomingtoseeusatthestore,thereisa majorroadclosurefromBeresford-SDHwy46is CLOSEDfromBeresfordtotheEast,allthewaytoHwy11 (thenorth/southroadintoAlcester).
Ifyouarecomingfromthenorth,youcanstillusethe SDHwy11fromSiouxFallsroute(the54minroute). ThefastestandmostconvenientrouteistouseI-29, andexit42(Alcesterexit),headingeast8miles.The stopsigntherewillhaveAlcestertoyourleft(north).
Thisconstructionisscheduledtotakeplaceuntilthe fallof2024.Sopleasespreadtheword!
