Fourthyear Navy men's lacrosse coach Rick Sowell said, "I am thrilled to welcome Michael to our staff. He brings a keen eye for evaluating talent, a fresh offensive perspective and an overall enthusiasm as a coach that I know both our staff and players are going to benefit from going forward. With his pedigree, playing for Dave Cottle at Maryland and then learning from and coaching alongside Jon Torpey at High Point, both of whom I greatly respect, our men will thrive from his vast knowledge and creative ideas. Navy lacrosse could not be happier to welcome Michael to the Yard." Michael returned home after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at High Point University in North Carolina.
