POTOČARI, D’ÀREA INDUSTRIAL A MEMORIAL L’àrea de Potočari, la perifèria industrial dels afores de Srebrenica, estava considerada una zona segura, protegida pel contingent holandès Dutchbat format per 400 soldats en l’operació l’UNPROFOR (Forces de Protecció de les Nacions Unides), dins les forces de l’ONU. Els refugiats de Srebrenica es van desplaçar en massa buscant la protecció de les Nacions Unides, fugint del bombardeig intensiu i de la imminent entrada a la població de les tropes serbobosnianes. Els dies 11, 12 i 13 de juliol de 1995, l’exèrcit serbobosnià va fer-los presoners i va separar els homes de les dones, els adolescents dels nens. Un cop els periodistes i les càmeres de televisió es van retirar, la massacre va començar, amb una evident ineficàcia de les Nacions Unides i de les tímides reaccions internacionals. POTOČARI, AN INDUSTRIAL AREA TURNED INTO A MEMORIAL Potočari was the industrial periphery in the outskirts of Srebrenica. It was considered a safe area because it was protected by the Dutchbat, the Dutch contingent made of 400 soldiers that belonged to UNPROFOR (United Nations Protection Force). Huge waves of Srebrenica refugees moved there looking for the UN protection and fleeing the heavy bombing and the imminent arrival of the Bosnian Serb troops. On July 11, 12, and 13 1995, the Bosnian Serb army imprisoned them all and separated men and women, children and teenagers. Once journalists and TV cameras had gone, the massacre started showing the obvious UN inefficiency and the timid international reactions. POTOČARI, NEKADAŠNJA INDUSTRIJSKA ZONA PRETVORENA U MEMORIJALNI CENTAR Razmatrano je područje Potočari, industrijske periferije na periferiji Srebrenice sigurno područje, zaštićeno nizozemskim nizozemskim kontingentom formiranim od 400 vojnika u operaciji UNPROFOR (Zaštitne snage Ujedinjenih nacija) u sastavu snaga UN-a. Izbeglice u Srebrenicu se kretao previše tražeći zaštitu Ujedinjenih nacija bježeći od njega intenzivno bombardovanje i skorašnji ulazak u stanovništvo srpskih trupa. 11., 12. i 13. jula 1995. godine, srpska vojska ih je učinila zarobljenicima i odvojio muškarce od žena, tinejdžera djece. Jednom novinari i televizijske kamere Oni su se povukli, masakr je počeo, s očitom neučinkovitošću Ujedinjenih naroda i burne međunarodne reakcije.

EL POBLE AMB NOM DE GENOCIDI Com cada any des de 1995, al poble que ha perdut el nom del poble, milers de bosníacs es desplacen a Srebrenica, una part d’ells provinent de la diàspora bosniana i l’altra de diferents indrets del nou país. 8.372 assassinats donen de si, familiars i amics es retroben en un dol col·lectiu, entre 30.000 i 40.000 persones, tot dependrà de la quantitat d’identificacions per establir el trist balanç anual: 465 (2007), 534 (2009), 800 (2010), 35 (2018). THE TOWN WHICH NAME IS GENOCIDE As every year since 1995, on July 10 and 11, people who lost the name of the people, thousands of Bosnians travel to Srebrenica, a part of them coming from the Bosnian diaspora everywhere, and the other from different parts of the new country. 8,100 murders give of themselves, relatives and friends are unfortunately returned in a collective mourning, between 30,000 and 40,000 people, all depend on the number of identifications to establish the sad annual balance; 465, 534 and 800 burials respectively in 2007, 2009 and 2010.
