VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT BRUCE DORY Music has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, having sung and played clarinet since childhood. After retiring from the U.S. Postal Service, a most gracious lady urged me to audition for the Master Chorale of South Florida where I rediscovered the joy of singing! Additionally, I met a former Seraphic Fire employee that encouraged many of us to sign-up to volunteer with Seraphic Fire. In September 2016, I moved to Fort Myers, FL where I became a member of the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers. When I heard in 2017 that Seraphic Fire was going to include Naples as one of its venues, I immediately phoned to offer my volunteer services. I am honored to be a part of the Seraphic Fire family. It has been said that music soothes the soul and lifts the spirit. I couldn’t agree more, for mine is truly soaring!
