Circular Knitting Machine & its parts: A circular knitting machine is used to create knitted fabrics in a partially or fully automated fashion. It produces a fabric in a seamless tube shape. In the past, four or five double-pointed needles can be used for circular knitting. But nowadays, the circular needle is used, which is similar to short knitting needles connected through a cable. Circular knitting is performed on double bed machine on which knitting can be done on the front bed in one direction; on the other hand, back bed knits in return which then forms a tube. But the working of both these machines is different from each other. In seamless circular machines, a single tubular type of garment can be created whereas in seamless flat knitting machines more than one tube can be produced which further joins on a machine.
