There’s no place like home. Most Americans hope to live at home as long as possible, but many need to address areas of the home that are unsafe or inaccessible. There can be many obstacles that affect home safety. These can include steps at the home’s entry, narrow doorways, levels in the home, and unsafe bathrooms. Northern Colorado’s hot real estate market makes it difficult to find a reasonably priced home without barriers. Northern Colorado is home to several companies that can help people of all ages adapt and modify their homes. Some offer construction

services to install grab bars, widen doorways, and create barrier-free bathrooms. Others install equipment such as stair lifts, ramps, wheelchairs lifts, and ceiling-mounted lifts. Be sure to ask about complimentary home evaluations.
