policies Identification Card Requirements

It is required that all Southeast students or members prove their membership by presenting a valid Redhawks ID card upon entering either SRC. Patrons will not be permitted to use the SRC’s without possessing a valid Redhawks ID card. All patrons purchasing a membership to the SRC’s or the Student Aquatic Center are required to have a Redhawks ID made for them. The cost is $10/ID card. If cards are lost or damaged, a replacement can be made for $15. Photos are taken in the main office (SRC-North, Room 101). All guests are required to leave a photo ID at the desk while using the facility and must complete a Daily Pass Registration Form available at the Operation Center in each facility. Any non-member may “self-sponsor” themselves with the required guest fee and proper identification. Parents/legal guardians are required to register children age 17 and younger (not in effect for special events). Patrons are encouraged to contact our office if they have a guest that will be here for an extended stay.

Equipment

Towel services, day-use locks and equipment check-out are available at the Operation Center within each SRC. To obtain these services, a student or member must present a valid ID. The ID will be retained at the Operation Center in exchange for the equipment being used. Should items be lost under your care, the member or person responsible will be billed a replacement cost plus an administrative fee to replace the missing item. Some items, such as racquetball racquets and towels require a small fee for checkout. Several items can be purchased at the Operation Center as well.

Accidents and Injuries

Participation in programs and services offered by Recreation Services is voluntary; individuals assume responsibility for their own health and safety. Individuals who intend to participate in vigorous activities should, for their own protection, have a physical examination to determine if they are physically able to participate. Medical insurance is strongly recommended.

Alcohol and Tobacco Policy

All Southeast recreation facilities are non-smoking, no tobacco facilities. No alcohol is permitted in recreation facilities or on fields.
