For parties, groups may bring in food, as long as the meal is not catered by an off-campus restaurant or facility. Hosts may bring in light snacks, nonalcoholic drinks, cake and ice cream as well. The Department of Recreation Services cannot store such items prior to an event taking place. Our on campus catering provider, Chartwells, has an excellent option for catering small parties. Party Times (Academic Year): Friday 5 - 7 p.m. or 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 1 - 3 p.m. or 4 - 6 p.m.
Party Times (Breaks and Holidays): Monday - Friday 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. During these times the pool is open to the members of the Student Recreation Center. The group shares use of the pool, but has exclusive use of the wet classroom, which is where tables and chairs will be set up for presents and snacks.
Rental groups may inquire about renting the Student Aquatic Center during nonoperational hours at an additional cost.
CLIMBING WALL
Rental groups renting a basketball court or climbing wall space will have tables and chairs set up in that area for presents and snacks. Party Times: Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 3 or 4 - 6 p.m.
Pool Party Rates
Rates subject to change. University Affilate* - $100 for two hours - Rental group can have up to 50 swimmers Non-University Affilliate - $120 for two hours - Rental group can have up to 50 swimmers Non-Operational times - $100 per hour - 2 hour minimum
