GOLF 14th Annual Alumni & Friends Tournament Raises $64,000

Seventy-one golfers, plus 16 dinner guests, enjoyed nearperfect weather for the 14th Annual Selwyn House Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament, held at Kanawaki Golf Club on May 28. The event raised $64,144 for the Old Boys’ Endowment Fund for bursaries to benefit future generations of students. A portion will also support the educational initiatives of the Selwyn House Old Boys’ Association and the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. Prize winners: • Drive to the Target: Alex Zammit. • Closest to the pin: Geoffrey Kalil, Sheila Jablonski, Jean Daoust. • Longest Drive: Paula Shannon, Andrew Funamoto 2006. • Low Gross: Pat Shannon (87), Sheila Jablonski (97), Noah Norton (73). • Team Low Gross: Barton Goodleaf, Noah Norton, Peter Delormier, Garrett Cree. • Old Boy Champion Low Gross: Matthew Jablonski 2010 (77).
