Click here to view the collection
ELA Assessments evaluate students' comprehension of core grades K-5, allowing teachers to measure students' baseline understanding of various concepts and track progression towards mastery. ELA Assessments are ready to use, can be flexibly administered throughout the school year, and are designed for students to complete independently in one sitting. Many assessments include auto-graded questions, making it easy for teachers to review students’ scores and use this data to inform future instructional decisions.

Best Practices

Compile Baseline Data: Use the “Standards View” in the Gradebook to quickly determine which students have achieved mastery and which are still in need of additional support.
Flexibly Assign Throughout the Year: Assessments are designed to provide data to show when students have reached mastery or need additional support. Continue to assign assessments as needed to track growth and progress, and use this formative assessment data to inform instructional decisions.

Target Specific Standards/Skills: Each assessment targets ~1-2 standards, providing teachers with focused and skill-specific insights.
