Since inception, Seed Effect's primary goal has been to bring access to economic empowerment and the hope of Jesus Christ to hard places. This has looked like the war-torn, hyper-inflationary state of South Sudan and now the refugee settlements in northern Uganda. HOPE International has been equipping churches and Christ-centered ministries around the world to form and train savings groups since 2007. Its network includes church and ministry partners who have started over 60,000 savings groups in Burundi, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, the Philippines, South Asia, Ukraine, Haiti, and Peru.
