Plastic Free Seaford
A belated but Happy New Year from Plastic Free Seaford! It’s taken a while to get the cogs turning after 2020 and as I write this, it is February after what has felt a very long 2021, despite being only a month in! So here is a recap about how this campaign can help you as a business, organisation or individual. We are a positive, not to mention useful, campaign for everyone in the Seaford community so…
b Drop us a line to say if you are a business owner
who would like a FREE single use audit (it’s a moneysaving tool for you to cut out the items you don’t need to keep re-buying) and you can become one of our brilliant CHAMPIONS.
b If your business or group supports raising awareness of plastic pollution issues to protect the planet, get in touch and say Hi! We love to raise our profile amongst Allies within the community as it’s an essential way to spread the message #noexcuseforsingleuse.
We are here to support every single person in Seaford to start fighting the war on plastic waste and the pollution it causes by eliminating single-use plastic from your bins! b Zoom is now a word in my weekly vernacular
as well being a really useful way of keeping the plastic pollution topic in people’s minds and conversations. If you would like to book me, Claire, the Campaign Lead, for an inspiring talk about how to live without singleuse plastics email: plasticfreeseaford@gmail.com. Reducing plastic pollution and tackling society’s throwaway, excessive and unnecessary single-use culture is still top priority for us. Sea swimming, beach holidays, wildlife watching – plastic is now an inevitable and unwelcome part of these experiences. Plastic pollution is also evident inland, blighting our lanes, paths and hedgerows, and inevitably ending up in waterways. If you follow us on Instagram, watch out for the weekly ‘LIVE’ conversations we will be having with our current Champions as well as our followers.
