WINNER The Dutch Sea Angling Federation chose the beaches around Domburg in the Netherlands to host the FIPSMer World Championships between 16th to 23rd October 2015 for the Junior and Youth teams. The Angling Trust England Junior team consisted of; Jaon Voller, Jack Cairns, Thomas Wartnaby, Adam Howard, Joseph Smith, David Graham (manager) and Chris Clark (assistant manager). The Junior team arrived three days early so they could practice the three match venues, Domburg, Joossesweg and Zoutleland before the start of the championships. Fishing was good with plenty of Bass, Dabs, Flounders and Whiting during practice, but winter had really set in with a freezing north east wind chilling the anglers to the bone. There were mixed results during the championships with some highs and lows, but the team pulled together and gave their all on the beach every day. Joseph Smith and Jaon Voller both managed day wins during the championships and were presented that evening with trophies and gifts from the championships sponsor. Continued on page 2...
